Just a couple hours drive for me and, I will show up unless you guys try to go in the middle of the summer. I can't stand the heat, or summer in general...

I'm down, I get to stay in town for free! Family perks lol. I think Pritchett would be a little more than I wanna run my truck on. I've run it in buggies and for me to take my truck on it would be to stressful. I'm just not ready for body damage and my truck isn't quite set up for that hard of a trail. I do have some local friends (M40) there and can contact them and help with setting up some free guiding or best suited trails for some of the guys. Locals that grew up there and know it all really well. It might help to avoid guys getting in over their comfort levels. Just an idea. When are we thinking?

I am pretty familiar with the area too. I have organized several trips for Mercedes G-Class owners and guided them on the trails in Moab a bunch of times. Happy to help any way I can as well! I also do not desire ANY body damage to my new truck but there are tons of trails we could run and meet that goal. I always started with Fins and Things, gets the blood going in a couple places but generally an easy 2-3 hour warm up trail.

How big of a gathering has is this? Enough folks to have a couple trail groups?

One year we were getting concerned about needing permits due to the expected turnout. Luckily, we fell under that threshold.

Sounds great.. Yes, I just want to hit up Pritchett's first (prob before the event starts) so that I can get it done, then go wheel the "scenic" routes. I LOVE PRITCHETT'S CANYON!!!!! My favorite by far!!!!!! I really enjoyed last years dates (after the Jeep Safari) We had very little trail traffic, and the weather was damn near perfect.

I am open for ANY dates. as we will have plenty of time to plan.. This coming event, I will prob hit up the Rubicon Trail, then work my way back to Moab for the PW event,,, then hit up the Alpine Loop again like I did this past event.

Lets pick some dates......

I'm in. Moving back to utah in 5 days. I liked the dates from this year. I'll be there for EjS and would love a another run down there a couple weeks later.

I'm with you Mike for Pritchett. The JK should be in top shape by then.

I may be in for next year, but Pritchett I think is a bit out of my league. Defiantly keeping an eye on this.

I agree in keeping with Tradition!!!!!! 1st week in May works great for me.....

I was going to run Pritchett's before the event (get there early) to get it done.

This is my plan for this event..

Leave Fl early and drive to The Rubicon Trail/Fordyce and get that done,,, LOVE THAT PLACE,,, then work backwards (back north east) to hook up with the Moab PW rally,,, then off to the Alpine loop again,,,,, then Home.

There is a crew of us from Alberta that are seriously thinking of making this trip in 2016. Would be 2 full days of driving to get there, and we would be looking at hotels or cabins (wayyyy too much in fuel to yank the travel trailers that far). It's pretty early for us but if we could pull it all together could be 4 or more of us!!!

Thinking about going next year too. Don't know if we will be pulling the PW behind the motorhome or just driving it out. Seems like I get out to Moab every 2 yrs. I will be recovering from foot surgery, so I didn't how much walking I can do.

I should convince someone to drag a trailor down because I will probably break something important

You shouldn't have to do to much walking once we get out on the trail. If I get the ok to go maybe we can caravan across the country.

The doc said I will be off my foot for a min of 3 months. So we're see.

If you're taking Interstate 70W. I'm 8 miles from it. The California Pa. exit.
