Just to let everyone know, I'm definitely going. I'm trying to get Leah to come along. It's 50/50 with her at the moment. I'm hoping to have my new suspension parts installed and ready by then. As for food, I'll come up with something.

Brad and I were thinking that some kind of crockpot meal for Saturday may be a good idea. We always use every last bit of daylight at the park, and then start cooking when we get back to the campground. Maybe something like meatballs and sausage. Along with the chili and whatever, of course.

What are everyones thoughts on this idea.

Honestly your text stirred up a good bit of "discussion"... Wife said she wants nothing to do with it and won't go if I take GMC but was all for camping and site seeing if I rode along. We're up in pocono's as I type - btw the GMC got 10.2 towing, which is better than the wagon was unloaded... Lol. Sorry for the tangent guys - I'm still jealous.

For those that will be with us at the campground for dinner, breakfast, whatever, but can't/don't cook, we can use plates, napkins, utensils, etc. Feel free to jump in with other ideas, too! We do this stuff together and it makes for a great time!

If you want to bring something to BE cooked, throw that out there too. The kitchen staff(everyone) may be willing to accommodate!

Chris and me were talking about Saturday dinner. How about a seafood boil? We did one at Lake Powell. All we need is crab legs, shrimp (large), small potatoes, corn on the cob, kielbasa. Everything goes into a pot and let it boil with Ol Bay. The corn gets boiled in another pot with milk. After everything gets cooked. You pour everything out on a table. And let the feast begin. So what do you guys think?

Great idea. I can bring 4 lbs of large frozen shrimp. They're the ones in 2lb bags from the grocery store. Ill check BJs Wholesale to see if fhey have them cheaper (similar to a Sam's Club). I'll get the deveined ones, of course.
