I ordered the 7100's from George last week, but I haven't received them yet. But after this trip talking to the aggressive drivers (I won't mention any names, Peter), I think I need the Kings 2.5, because I drive like him! I'll have to talk to George to see what I can do to swap them.

The only thing I'm worried is if I want the performance version with the towers and somehow keep my stock air box.....
I still have my stock air box over the billet towers, granted it is tight, but it still fits.

Had a great time with everyone at Rausch Creek. That's definitely something I would do every year. I'll get all the videos up as soon as I get a chance. Thanks to everyone that cooked. Hope to see you all again next year at Rausch.

Really? From the looks of Peter's, his Thuren towers are tall and don't seem to fit with the stock air box.

Do you have the Carli or Thuren shocks and towers? Can you take a pic and post it or text it to me?

Thanks!

We finally made it home. We shredded a trailer tire on the turnpike. That was an adventure!

We stopped at the tire shop and bought 2 new tires and a rim. I now have 2 spares, because 2 is 1 and 1 is none, as they say.

Brad and I had a great time! It's good to see old friends and meet new ones. We should start now on the fall planning! Lol.

Glad you made it home safe and sound. I can't wait to see the videos of us climbing Jotter's way. :excited:

When are you thinking for the fall run? How late in the season?

I think that a winter run in the snow would be a blast!

And I'm up for a Fall run. I would like to see how my (upcoming) new King 2.5 and Carli coils perform.

Same here with you and Chris, Russ. I hope there were no issues with that spare while Chris was driving your PW home, too.

Have you checked for any damage from that hill climb at Lake Christy?

Nope. I don't have rock rails and I didn't need them. Only once did I hit the rocker panel and I just gently tapped it. Only damage was to my fog light, knocked it out of place somehow.

Rails are necessary if you want to do some of the harder trails like what Peter and Rusty did at Lake Christy.

No, a different hill. It's a RED trail called Jotter's Way, or something like that. It's a sheer smooth rock face that is behind the "playground" area. It was quite different. I imagine you have run similar on a larger scale in Moab.

I have Gopro video from my left front fender that I haven't reviewed. I think Shane shot some from the base. Brad shot some from the top with his phone. I'll see what we can do. It may be next week. We are on vacation right now.

I had been up it once before, but that was before the lift and 35's so I didn't have the break over clearance to go over the top. I wasn't going to let anything stop me this time.
