Last two pictures. Saved these for last. These are from the fun meters. When you got 30 on the Oh, Sh!T Meter, and 1.5 MPG on the over head. You know you're having fun.

Now I just got to figure out my video's. :geek:

Hey Guys,

I finally figured out what name I had joined under and then how to post. Just wanted to thank everyone for a fun weekend. The comradery and hospitality were great. Ben and I hope to wheel with you all again.

I picked up my truck last night from having custom sliders fabbed and installed. I will post pics soon.

Welcome aboard, John!

I'm sure everyone who doesn't have rock rails will be interested in pics, where they were done, and how much it cost.

I'm now able to see the extent of the pinstriping. Ouch! I also see that I bent a control arm. Not much, but it's a usable excuse to upgrade.

Now I will try to upload the pics and videos that Brad took. No promises...

Control arm? How did that happen? Rock?

I guess I shouldn't feel too bad with heavy pinstripes ans a gash/dent in front if the passenger rear wheel well. Gives me an excuse to get new wheel well covers like Russ and Mark and a few others have.

Vanished, you would have been fine. Both FireRescuePW and myself had our nerfs on and they got beat up but not a lot of damage that couldn't be fixed on the nerfs. The one exception was my rear quarter panel I crunched slightly when coming off a stump in a mud hole but that was my fault. I didn't go right enough and I could have taken an easy path.

I will say we pushed the trucks pretty hard and didn't have a lot of damage and then there was folks who took it a little easier. You would have been fine. We look forward to seeing you on the trails next time. Trust me we all are there to avoid damage and more then willing to guide you down easier paths.

Vanished, X2 what Peter said....the RC trip was the first time I've had mine out to a real off road park. Just some local trails and tank tracks on a Marine base before that. I made it out with a couple bumps to my grille guard and nerfs, plus a busted vapor canister where a tree limb wedged up thru the skid plate underneath....couldn't have predicted that one. Just a million in one shot. Otherwise, my truck came out just fine. I didn't do some of the harder trails, but that was OK by me. My PW is my daily driver and is still pretty new. I don't want to smash my rig up either. All of the guys were great about spotting folks thru rougher parts in order to not sustain damage, or splitting off onto bypasses around the crazy stuff. Definitely come out for the next one! This last trip was an absolute blast and a great bunch of fellow Power Wagon nuts to hang out with!

Posted a YES! on the Summer wheeling in Va. Thread. I definitely like the GWNF area....tents, campfires, decent trails, fairly close to home. Good to go!

So, here is my question: Did anybody have issues with their smartbar during or as a result of the water crossings yet ??? Just curious.

Did anyone try to seal theirs up ???

No problems. I greased the connections before RC and when we got there I covered everything in fluid film.
