Let us know when baseball starts, when you are available, etc. Others may have the same issue. We can work on a date from there. We're flexible. We want everyone to come play!

Re: Rausch Creek Fall 2013 ~ Sept/Oct
No can make it. The camper is at Ocean City Md. until the end of Sept. Just took it down there. My 2 weekends off for that month, that's where I will be. And I have an outage at work in Oct. Meaning no days off for that month.

Is this still a go? Do you have confirmed dates for this run? Please advise, so that I can arrange time to come up for this.

Re: Rausch Creek Fall 2013 ~ Sept/Oct
OMG, if gun45boat is going, that is even more reason to go! I want to see that sick truggy of his in person!!!!! Okay, sorry, I may have gotten a little over excited there, lol! But dang, that truck looks awesome!!!
I'll try this again-
I'd love to go depending on the date. I have a week long beach trip with the inlaws Sept 20-28 or so. Other than that, as long as this is a weekend trip, I should (hopefully) be free! If it turns out that somewhere in the Sept 20-28 range is when the most people can go though, don't let me be an inconvenience to it, go ahead and go without me! Seriously, I'll just meet up for the spring trip! (might be better anyway, it'd give me more time to get used to wheelin the "Trail Whale", LOL!)

Re: Rausch Creek Fall 2013 ~ Sept/Oct
My 16 year anniversary is on Sept 27th, so as long as I am home that night to take my lovely bride out to dinner, then I am good to go. I am available to make the run the (extended weekends) of 1st weekend and the 3rd weekends of Sept. and open ALL of October.
Re: Rausch Creek Fall 2013 ~ Sept/Oct
And PLEASE dont feel that you have to work around my schedule.. I will prob come up with a buddy of mine with a full tube chassis rock buggy, so it will be fun regardless. I think that OCtober might be a better month anyways, Because the leaves with be changing in the mountains, and I miss seeing them change. Plus, it is better rock climbing (with ropes) around the AT in October. I would be more excited to do a trip in October just to see fall set in, in the mountains. The Samuel Adam (october fest) beers tend to taste better too. LOLOLOL
But that is just me.
But that is just me.
Re: Rausch Creek Fall 2013 ~ Sept/Oct
Damn. You guys are tempting me again... Especially this custom wagon!
Re: Rausch Creek Fall 2013 ~ Sept/Oct
Right now the only weekends that are out for me in Oct are 10/12 and 10/26. Given some of the constraints folks have do we want to either target the middle of October or first weekend in November?

Wish I could go maybe next year. Taking the kids to Disney land in Florida in October. My uncle is moving back to Maine in October so I will plan on going up to visit him next year. Long drive 2200 miles one way. Might just fly instead though.
Re: Rausch Creek Fall 2013 ~ Sept/Oct

Re: Rausch Creek Fall 2013 ~ Sept/Oct
Any news on this trip? If not, I am going to just make my own trip up To Virginia and hit up some trails in GWNF and Shoe Creek Trails in the Appalachias, and do some climbing/wheeling/camping for a week. Prob. mid October Depending on when the leaves change. Looks like you folks have had a wet summer, so I am figuring a late turn of the leaves.

Alright, I went ahead and confirmed a trip to Harlan Kentucky to run HARLAN for the week of October 12th to the 19th as I am gauging that is when the leaves will be changing at there peak. If any of you all are Climbers out there, we will be hitting up some killer climbs on the Appalachias/ Doing some great hikes, and wheeling the hell out of our rigs. PM me if you want to join in.
