I just picked up a 2 pack, 8" & 10" for $30.

Not a big fan of adjustable wrenches because they tend to slip & round the edges of the nut, but these look promising.

I saw those featured in a "Don't buy these **** Craftsman tools this holiday season" video on YouTube. I don't remember the guy's exact comments about them, something about sucking at being vice grips (jawed teeth shaped to bite rounded fasteners) and sucking at being adjustable wrenches (smooth teeth to protect undamaged fasteners). Basically, use these instead of a crescent if you want turn a fastener that needed a crescent into one that needs vice grips. I hope your impression is different!

As long as it is well made I think that's sweet! Crescent wrench is never the right tool for the job, but how many times have we all used them and it's saved our bacon...

I only do what the majority of the 4 voices in my head tell me to. In most cases, I ignore two of them because one doesn't speak English, and I suspect the other is talking to someone else.

Just tried them out on some nuts on the snow blower. Worked like a champ. No slip at all. Grips WAYYY tighter than the best adjustable I have ever used. I like em so far. You have to understand that they were never designed to Vise Grips. They just make the adjustable wrench work about a 1000% better.

Those are only good if you don't want to spend money on the right tool for the job.

Update: I now have blood blisters on each index finger, from getting pinched as I was closing the lock lever. Wearing gloves is recommended I guess.

 Think you might need a 40 hr. training course on the operation of the tool. Complete with CBT's, JPM's and a written test afterwards.
