Roof top tents

Post by Colibri » Sun Nov 08, 2015 5:53 pm

Hi all, I'll soon be in the market for a rtt to be mounted on the bed of the wagon on a custom rack I'm having built for the purpose. I've been eyeing the mt. bachelor model from cascadia vehicle tents as its the perfect size for a short bed with a tool box. Do any of you have any experience with cvt tents or have any opinions or info? I'd appreciate any guidance y'all may have on the matter, thanks!

I've been looking at the smittybilt overland tent. Cheap and looks like it's an ARB knock off.

They seem pretty cool.

I emailed them to get prices. I like the idea of camper top/tent

Yaaa damn that's pricey I would suggest just building your own. It's going to be smaller but way way way less money. Also maybe consider a travel trailor if you need more room.

I was thinking of it compared to a slide in camper and I think this would be better on the trail and I think they are quite a bit cheaper.
