Here's some of the iPhone apps I use for wheeling...

TapaTalk - Not so much for wheeling but to access forums on a mobile device. This forum supports Tapatalk which is available on Android and iPhone

Waze - An awesome FREE turn-by-turn navigation and map app. It's community driven, so the more people who use it, the better it gets. If I'm driving and I hit massive traffic backup, it'll ask if I'm in traffic, if I say yes, it starts monitoring my progress and coloring the road along with posting my average speed for other people to see. Then those people can choose alternate routes. I can also mark accidents, speedtraps, road hazards etc. I can even help out by adding new roads to the map if they're not there already.

EveryTrail Pro - Ann app that you can download all sorts of trailmaps to. Charles A. Wells Moab book has a bunch of trails you can download into the app for free. Waypoints, pictures, trail descriptions etc. The app isn't free and some trail maps are not, but so far all of Charles A. Wells book trails are including AZ, CA and CO.

Geocaching - If you don't know what Geocaching is, read my write-up here http://gps.pcwize.com. This is fun for the whole family. Using million dollar satellites to find tupperware containers and such for hidden treasure. You'd be surprised by how many Geocaches you drive and walk past every day without even knowing they're there. This is a pricey app though at about $10 on both Android and iPhone. However, they have a FREE limited version you can get to play around with.

Theodolite - An inclinometer on serious steroids

I have the Android phone and I use Inclinometer Pro because I liked it and wanted to pay them.

The lite version is free and works just the same but with adds and fewer car images.

The one I'm using for android is "Inclinometer" by gelosav. I got the pro for a buck because I thought it was a well done app that deserved compensation.

Nice. Just grabbed it for my brand spanking new Nexus 7 Tablet. Now I gotta figure out a good mount for in the truck.

That must be on your iPhone. I only found something for the Droid called iSense Theodolite by UMass, for calculating rocket altitudes.

I found GeoCam Pro, apparently it's the Droid version. I'll check it out and post back.
