Blue tooth acting up.
So today as I was on a call my speaker went silent... I knew I was still on the line so I disabled the "headset" from phone screen. The head unit still shows phone is connected, the phone commands work and the Uconnect voice still there but no sound coming from a phone call. I deleted and re-paired phone with no fix. Any insights?

Do a Google search for that problem with your specific phone and Bluetooth setup. My Parrot MKi9100 Bluetooth has not been worth a crap since I got it installed last year. Had it at the installer's shop last week for three hours of troubleshooting and tearing the dash apart, and no improvement. Did a Google search and found that this is a common problem with my setup. Called Parrot tech support and they told which harness to use for my truck/radio combination, how the speakers should be wired to it (because the harness defaults to the rear speakers in my truck) and where to reinstall the mic to minimize background noise coming off the windshield glass. Guy at Parrot told me that the Ram trucks are a nightmare because of Dodge's goofy sound systems (Infinity in my 2005). Truck will be back in the shop in a couple of weeks.

All is factory, no aftermarket pieces. Has worked fine for almost two years. Haven't tried to pair another phone. Would there be an update possibly for the truck?
This is what the system info says...

Can't help with your factory Bluetooth, but you just reminded me that my Sirius has never worked, either.

Re: Blue tooth acting up.
Give these guys a call to see what they can do. They repaired the blue GPS connector on my RER. They do other things such as converting low-speed CAN bus radios to high-speed CAN bus. I'll be installing my low-speed bus RER that I had in my 2006 for the last 3 years, into my wife's 2010 1500, which has a high speed bus, so I will be getting them to convert the radio for me instead of buying another one, selling this one, etc. I've already put the original REC back into my 06.
So as far as your setup, it could be something simple on your radio. See what they have to say.

Wait, I forgot to ask. Is your radio still covered under warranty? If it is, or even if it may not be, you may be able to call UConnect directly, too (1-877-855-8400).
Here's an interesting thread on what one guy did to contact them dealing with a Verizon cell phone with an older Bluetooth version that had problems connecting.
