Well sort of I did.
It was a good price but with the long wait and order mix up it is not nearly as good a deal. But it was a great price though.
I ordered 90' of 1/2" AmSteel-Blue™ with Samthane™ 34,000 lb ABS rope.
and a sling hook with a half link.

What I got was a pair of relays mounted to an "L" bracket with the PN for the rope stuck on the bag.
along with the hook I purchased. This was back a few months ago when they had that 40% off code.
They are sending out my rope now but said it will take a couple weeks... errr!
Did anyone else order from them?

I decided that it would make sense to put a new winch strap on the AmSteel-Blue.....

I recall a certain someone saying they might be making a PW specific hawse fairlead.

That's my plan. I have used my winch twice and both times it was a straight level pull. So I' just going to remove and polish the rollers and give it a go. All the folks I have checked with say it will be fine as long as the rollers are smooth.
No rope yet and I forgot to call them.

Pit, I have been on the waiting list for a pair of straps since March 21 of 2010. That is 3 years and 9 months. Are you ever going to deliver the straps?

Okay I got my winch rope yesterday, I must say it is a good looking cable and sheath.
I want to make a Velcro cover for the end to protect any exposed fibers from sun-rot

Just be sure you use UV stable thread as well as fabric. I had a boat cover made and picked the best sunbrella canvas I could find, but the guy who made it for me used standard thread. Needless to say after just under five years it fell apart at the seams that were exposed to sunlight.
Come to think of it put me on your list. Same blue material they used on the sheath if possible LOL.

Is that PW strap UV stable?... I picked up a handfull of Warn straps at moab a few years back but only have a couple left so will be saving them for the jeeps.
