wireless winch control
You guys and your cheap warn wirless controls made me think I needed a wireless control for my winch so I made my own for about $20.00. $10.00 for the two chanell wireless controller and $10.00 for a matching plug for the modified connector I put on my Mile Marker control.
I got the wirless controller from the net at a place called tmart (where you can alos get the cheap 2meter handy talkie). The controller has two 10 amp relays that can be set to operate independantly either toggle on/off or monentary on/off or can toggle the two relays in tandem. Both relays have a n/o and n/c contact so the controller could be used for any number of remote controlleddevices. The sender has a range of about 300 ft with the antenna pulled out.

Re: wireless winch control
A diesel PW is the only thing that could make me give up my Hemi PW, but I wouldn't go for a diesel 2500 or 3500. Just got back from a 1400 mile R/T to AZ and got about 8mpg. What's not to like?hehe you want a diesel, you know you do.......

Re: wireless winch control
where in AZ? You should have stopped in for a visit!
I just got back from a 3000 mile r/t to Seattle pulling a trailer, got 18-19 mpg what's not to love about that? And yeah a diesel PW would be SWEET....
