My new Masterpull 27/64" Super XD 23,900# winch line should be here today!

The old 3/8" Masterpull on the winch now is about 15 yrs old, I thought it was about time for an upgrade.

Nice choice - I may go that route next time myself. The cover is very appealing - it should prevent the damage my line has suffered over the last 4 years. How long a chunk did you get, and what did you select for the working end, a hook or thimble?

75', stainless thimble for use with the safety hook I had on the old rope.

Now I need to splice an eye in the old rope to use as an extension......

Here it is!

I probably could have gotten 100' on the drum but I feel 75 feet will be more useful as I will be able to get to the lower layers with less rope spooled out.

For what the rope or hook? I believe they are both normal Masterpull parts The hook was on my old rope, I believe it was Masterpull but about 15yrs old.
