Thanks. Your truck inspired mine. Been following your build for a long time. Went for newer truck just for safety features. If I didn't have kids I would have loved to copy your build.

Re: AEV Ram!

Here is my home brew aev ram. Love it and looking forward to 40" some day. 37" at 20psi off-road is bliss. Say what you will about the turnkey vehicles but I've put the truck to the test and have had few issues. If aev making turnkey vehicles means more parts for the rest of us than its a good deal ...

I think they will. But they didn't have a procedure for tpms when procal first came out. That's new in the past few weeks or month. So once they determined it was possible I bet that was the main barrier to going individual sale, don't want word getting out that it wasn't 100% capable before going t...

TPMS

Don't call aev. Call a dealer. Try northridge 4x4. It has a separate part number like all parts of the lift I bet. I don't have a prospector, it came with my lift in its own box. Tossed the box, but it had the part number on it...

Re: TPMS

I have an aev procal and they just released/updated instructions on this (if my older procal will work). You might be able to purchase it separately if you contact a aev dealer and ask for that specific part.

Tires
Track bar
Steering Components
Control Arms

Bil had it on his wagon. Tires and control arms solved it.

i dont apply fully (cummins) but I had a leveling kit before lift. It...was...horrible...sell the truck horrible if I didn't fix it the wife said horrible. Curious to see how this turns out.

Edit: forgot I also didn't have shock extensions. Might be a reason why it was so. So. Bad..

Re: Axle Hop

Trouble is: when you air down that low you lose a lot of ground clearance. In situations like that you also need all the ground clearance you can get. Axle hop seems to be the byproduct of a soft/er, flexy/er suspension. I get it really bad in good packing snow. 4th or 5th gear, lo range & a health...

... Might disappear at 18 psi.... Dont go all in on it  depends on the tire. I run 18-20PSI in the rear and 40PSI front when not towing (seriously) offroad I have a hard time telling the difference from 25 to 30psi front, so been experimenting with 30-35 front. Your mileage may vary (pun inten...

What tire pressures you running? Big difference if you do some background and run lower. Bet those tires are maxed out right now from the factory.

But it wont climb a modest slope on a graded gravel road that has 6" of frozen snow on it because axle wrap and wheel hop are so bad in certain conditions. oh this is soo true even for my 05' pw and current 12' pw. that's why i have chains though. let us know how you like the aev. i've been tempted...

Re: 2016 Power Wagon: 10,000 Mile Review

The AEV makes perfect sense if you want the Wagon feel with the diesel pulling power. The question I want to know is, will the diesel go up the snow bank with the same axle hop? I haven't driven over any real snow yet. I suppose I will get to find out what that's like this year though. Congratulati...

Re: Reloaderguy's Mod Thread

For anyone interested, I've been working with Benny at All Mopar Parts to source the OE parts necessary to upgrade to factory dual alternators. The option is $400 when ordered from the factory. Based on the parts needed it looks like about a $700 upgrade aftermarket. This should be the same for all...

Re: AEV Ram!

The track bar bracket can only contact the coil bucket if the track bar is too long. Under standard movement, you can contact the bumpstops with the stock track bar. Yeah, I'm sure that is true. The new track bar is bent to allow for the new placement of the axle 1" forward, im guessing, not becaus...

AEV Ram!

Just measured. 2" in the rear. 1.5" bump stops extensions. Front measures around 3" with bump stops extensions hard to measure but around 1.5". Here is my spare aev track bar against my stock 2500 trackbar. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160726/e9950df1452016bc36daae4e60665f2f.jpg http://uploads....

Re: AEV Ram!

[ According to aev dave, moving the axle forward was one of the keys of allowing for an extra inch of uptravel. The trackbar may also be part of it. And its 3" in the front. 2" in the back. Didn't gather that from his post, might be reading it wrong: http://forum.aev-conversions.com/showthread.php?...
