Re: 2006 Power Wagon Build
A couple of recent pics of the Power Wagon. Just a scenic drive up to Apache Lake. The PW is all ready for my hunting trip to Wyoming next week. I leave on the 11th and deer opens the 15th. image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg What area did you draw in Wyoming? We drew region E. I have a friend that lives...

Re: Dielectric Grease
I did a search and found a lot of people are using dielectric grease go protect their electrical connections on the smart bar and lockers. So what is the procedure for this? Unplug connections, pack everything with grease and reconnect? I've read that dielectric grease is not conductive; do you pac...

Re: 2006 Power Wagon Build
Looks like I'm out for Saturday. I was offered overtime on Saturdays from here on out, so I'll be taking advantage of that to fund some more upgrades. Can't pass it up when it's offered. We'll do it another weekend. I think our plans have fallen through anyways. I am probably working tomorrow as we...

Re: 2006 Power Wagon Build
Hey Sheepdog, I think I am going out next Saturday with some of the guys from Strapt if you are interested. Not sure where yet, they were talking about somewhere up near Bartlett Lake. I am new to AZ and still don't know the trails. I may just take you up on that offer. I'll PM you in the next coup...

Re: 2006 Power Wagon Build
Just drove the truck for the first time with the new lift. Mostly street and some very easy trails. The Carli suspension has an amazing ride and I could not be happier. It rides much better than stock. I think upgrading to the 2008.5+ "Y" steering helped a lot. So far, I love the Cooper STT's.

Re: PW got in a fender bender
Sounds like a good thing. Bumper damage only means you get to take the money they give you for a factory bumper and upgrade to something better. My guess is a factory bumper will cost about as much as an after market.

Here are some parking lot pics with the Carli lift installed. Just picked it up tonight. The guys at Strapt Performance did a really good job. Good people to work with. Now gotta get it out for a shakedown run.

Re: Roof Top Tents - Suggestions
I used to own an Eezi-Awn. It was mounted to a custom bed rack on a built Tacoma. It is one of the best roof top tents and you pay for the quality. It was well made, kept me warm and dry, and withstood heavy winds and abuse. That being said, it got old pretty quick. I didn't like the fact that I had...

Re: FRONT LICENSE PLATE MOD
California is no doubt a beautiful state with a lot to offer. I lived in San Diego my entire life (40+ years). Not many places you can surf great waves in the morning and be at 6,000' + elevation within a couple hour drive. I too decided to relocate my family out of California for reasons previously...

Re: Power Wagon sightings
The Carli suspension and 37's in my signature are being installed, dropping it off Tuesday afternoon and should be picking it up on Thursday afternoon. I jumped the gun a little bit and added these items to my signature because I really can't wait. I will probably take it out next weekend somewhere ...

Re: Power Wagon sightings
On Friday I saw a white 4th gen in the parking lot in front of Firehouse Subs off of Signal Butte in Mesa, AZ. It had a Trail Ready front bumper. I was in my company car and running late for an appointment, so I didn't stop to say hi or take a photo. My guess is this truck belonged to Sheepdog Outdo...

Re: 37-12.50 vs 37-13.50 toyos
Hey guys I'm looking into putting thurens control arms and his lift shackle on my truck, it already has a leveling kit on it from previous owner (which by the way never believed in rotating tires). I've had bad intentions ever since seeing the carli power wagon. so heres the question, would you guy...

Wireless winch controller
I just bought my 2006 PW and it didn't have the winch controller. Can anyone confirm if the Warn wireless controller will work with this winch. From what I've read on this forum and on. Warn's website, it appears as though it will, but I would like to confirm before ordering. Also, how are people li...

2006 Power Wagon Build
My starting point: 2006 Power Wagon, white in color, 56K on the odometer (one owner truck from CA), factory rock rails. Lockers and smart bar are working perfectly, so I plan to read others post to help keep them working that way. I will run a Carli lift, probably the one that comes with the Bilstei...
