Rambox gun rack mod. The OEM one cost like $250... I got these ATV mounts on amazon for $35 :excited:
I used those same mounts building my sporting clays gun stroller, great buy!

I will say this now that I have the King 2.5's installed, the coils and front and rear track bars, the truck handles on ramps like a totally different vehicle. Really, I've just been blown away by this whole setup. It's fucking amazeballs. How are "amazeballs", anything like incredicok? Anyway, con...

Re: Hi lift jack ideas

I know this thread is old, but here's how I just mounted mine in a RamBox truck. Took the jack apart to its major pieces: jack bar, foot (replaced the bolt with a 1/4" pin), handle (replaced the cotter pin with a single leg snap button), and running gear. I built plywood dividers and a jig to hold ...

Re: 40-Inch Tire Discussion (Or anything bigger than 37's)

You cannot put a price on being cool. You either are or are not. I resemble that remark. I don’t use my PW much here, aside from the weekend hunting trips—it’s DC, they frown on that type of behavior ;) —so it’s neither a mall crawler nor my DD, but it’s been paid off for about a year now, so it’s ...

Re: 37" tires with 4.10 for those who do have

Although I might install mine myself. I learned a valuable lesson once about thinking I could get away with not torquing down roller rockers on the valve train properly. Costly mistake. It's the whole .005 inch stuff with setting preload and backlash, the superfine measurements required that make m...

Re: 37" tires with 4.10 for those who do have

As far as I can tell, all your costs seem to be significantly less. You got the parts for WAAAAAY cheaper than their current market availability, and if you paid $800 per axle then you also found the cheapest labor costs for axles I've ever seen. As most cheap places charge around 1200 per axle. St...

Re: 37" tires with 4.10 for those who do have

FIND A RACE shop to do this, they do it all the time, don't be cheap and try this yourself unless you have a LOT of automotive experience, the exact right tools, and are really precise in your measurements and work...it's just not worth it. The install took the shop in Ohio around 8 hrs+ to do both...

Re: 40-Inch Tire Discussion (Or anything bigger than 37's)

Although cool looking, I can’t help but question the necessity of a 40” tire. Is a 3” nominal diameter gain & and 1.5” clearance gain worth the hassel, $, and extra mods required to run 40’s? Given an exemplar 40x15.5x20 from Toyo or Nitto, the unsprung weight increases over 100% over the stock Dura...

Gotchya. Well damn. I was hoping for a different reply then that. Does it still clean up real nice and easy, like it was just waxed the other day? Or is that a myth too? Yes, it cleans up well enough. I’ve never taken it to a non-touchless car wash, & wash mine 90+% myself, and usually do the two b...

For those that know me (as much as anyone can know anyone in the anonymity of the internet) this is not new, but for all the newer members, I am as analytic as anyone else, and probably more so than a lot of others. I measure 10 times, then calibrate the measuring device, then send in my calibers fo...

Re: Pulled the Trigger....2012 PW

I finally pulled the trigger on a new to me/used 2012 PW! I have been scouring the internet and researching since last hunting season about the trucks, and I found this 2012 in Missouri. I live in Colorado, and the Carfax showed that it was originally from Colorado. The skid plates were clean, lock...

I thought Aduleca had AAM 4.88’s? Read the detailed thread, because I asked about that and clarification. He has Yukons. I thought he started out with yukons and traded up for AAM’s after.... I do have a shitty memory, though. Yes...correct. I orginally ordered Yukon’s FR/R, but had buyer’s remorse...

I have to say, that Caspian frame and slide are works of art. Thank-you. They do a good job. When I was finished, I bead blasted the frame, and used Mother's metal polish and newspaper on the slide several times. After I was finished building it, as you could imagine, the frame had several handling...

My understanding, being from the cold north, is unless there's an inline thermostat, with a built in relay to break the circuit, is the "heater" is a two sided wire, with a 3-prong, 3-phase, 120V, male end, and the other a resistive heat coil set into the bottom of a cylinder plug, usually at the co...

Is that only possible through the locker bypass or is it possible to piggyback those wires through a relay to run as a bypass, thereby leaving all factory wiring in place but no...
