My question is.. are their overland shocks better than the stock bilsteins? I've heard contrary. The overland's are twin-tube correct(?) vs the mono-tube stock bilsteins. Without a doubt the Fox and King options are superior to the stock Bilsteins.

I just went outside to see if that same little prone failure part is on my brand new 2016 and there it was. The outside housing appears to be about 1/8'' thick then the pin goes through some rubbery bushing within the housing. I can see it moving and this is a brand new and the part looks different ...

Well the budget is relative but I'm open to any and all suggestions. The first thing I wanted to swap were the shocks/dampers because they make such a huge difference in ride and feel however I've been down that road before. The 2.0's are a good suggestion.

I have a question (and it may not be the same on the later models...I have a 2016) while not assisting the op is relative. If the locker electronics are tied in to the smartbar/controls will replacing a defective smartbar with a standard one cause other issues?

If anyone is interested in a very lightly used K&N CAI I'm ready to sell it. I even purchased a blue Amsoil dry cone filter for it ($80) which fits perfectly (no oiling 100k filter).

On my 2016 I've done the mufflex magnaflow muffler swap (very happy) and the K&N CAI which I removed within a few days. The truck really needs to be retuned to take advantage of the increase airflow from the CAI. It felt like there was loss of throttle response. Not worth the few extra hp in my opin...

I can't wait to swap the stock wheels. The first time they loaded up with mud it bricked up between the inside rim and caliper.

I wonder if the longer center spud is designed to hold the spring at full droop? Bad design or intended?
