Hey Medic, does AOAA see alot of full size trucks? The day I was there, I saw jeeps and ATVs in the lot.

I would love to try it out.

We're leaving tomorrow for our trip out west. Will be back in town on the 14th. Think from the 2nd through the 9th. No cell phones. We will be in a dead spot I think. 58 miles south of Bullfrog Utah, on Lake Powell. Well, damn! I guess that IS here already. Have a great time! See you soon.

Re: Rausch Creek 2018 June 22,23,24

Cathy has been keeping me up to date on the food discussions. I'm sure we will be doing the usual over-stuffing for the weekend. We will be leaving on Sunday morning, as we are going to OCMD with a group from my firehouse the following week, starting on Sunday. I wish a few more people were able to ...

Re: "Welcome Thread"

Greetings! I've been a guest on this site for a while now. I pulled the trigger on a new 2017 RAM Power Wagon! I'm going to pick her up on Tuesday. I'd love to give the new PW 6.4 Hemi some rumble, 35's, and lightning upgrades. Oh and delete those factory sidesteps. Welcome, great color. Drop those...

Ah, ok. I always heard they (Carli and Thuren) wouldn't touch each others' shocks. I was curious if something changed.

For $50-60, I would buy the new one. Like you said, they should support the newer one longer.

Re: Diesel PW Build Thread

I got a chance to ride in 2015 cummins powered truck yesterday. FULL thuren and carli setup, boogie bumps, king 2.0's (Don sent him to use while his Carli 2.5's are being rebuilt), Thuren 3'' front, 1'' rear springs, Thuren torsion swaybar and endlinks. He's a Thuren dealer. From what I experienced...

Re: Need to be talked into, or out of purchasing a new PW

Ok, Texas does change things.

1) Grab the Ranch Hand catalog and find the biggest bumper they make.

2) Buy the truck it fits.

Your welcome.

Re: Wheels: OEM vs Aftermarket

I have 09 pw wheels that have alcoa stamped on them. My 06 had the same ones. There is a distinctive bead retention lip on the pw wheels. Now it's not a bead lock but it does work at much lower pressure than a normal tire/wheel can go. I believe 18psi is the factory minimum recommendation that was ...

They do. I still run the Wagon wheels that came on my '05. I think '05 was the last (only) year for USA made PW wheels by Alcoa? Maybe 1 more year?

Re: Need to be talked into, or out of purchasing a new PW

When you say "I would like to stress that I have absolutely NO NEED whatsoever for it. ", do you mean the Cummins, the PW, or a truck? I need to know this before I can answer.

Well, it's finally home. Picked it up tonight. What an ordeal.

As far as I know, yes, but I don't think anyone has made reservations at the KOA. This thread has been a little quiet.

Re: More camper shenanigans

The issues are Photobucket, most likely. Recently they decided to charge about $400 per year to host 3rd party pgoto capability. It's hit all the forums. On Garage Journal there are threads that are years old with thousands of photos that are now blank.
