So...my L rear door doesn't power lock anymore and neither of my rear speakers are working. Before I tear into the harnesses I just wondered if there is any reason related to the radio that may be the cause. My fader is squarely in the middle..I did install the factory Sirius set up and it has U-co...

Peter, were there any visual clues of the blown head gasket from the outside ? Like a carbon trail or build up.

I think you got jipped I wonder at times :wtf: are they (engineers and bean counters) thinking, why eliminate some thing as simple as that . Seriously! I by no means do anything extreme in my truck, and I'm already seeing that area as a weak spot. Yeah, shit DOES happen , even in day to day driving.

Like Firerescue said , it's their warranties that suck. for example , when something goes wrong with the heater, the RV manufacturer says "go deal with the heater manufacturer". And so on and so on with all their other outsourced components.

Have you considered a commercial shell ? Lots of ways to configure them , including height . One thing I really like are the double doors in the rear , no more tailgate to deal with . Down the sides you can go with no windows or doors , windows only , doors only , doors with windows . Paint to match...

Excluding everything that makes a PW a PW, it would have to be it's clean looks. '05s look like no other truck, and no nannies.
