Re: headers

You won't have any clearance issues with the TTI. If they don't specify for a 2500 4x4, they won't fit.

Re: Interchangeability of engines

The G56 in a HEMI is slightly different then the G56 in a cummins. And the higher hp cummins guys are swapping to a NV5600 after they explode the G56 case. Granted, they are making 800+ RWHP.

But spinning tires through the first 3 gears is fun...... :)

Re: Is this aam 11.5 worth it?

Craigslist is about the best place to find them. Usually $6-750 will get you a complete axle. Like posted above..... just get a dodge AAM to save alot of headaches. You'll only have to shorten rear shaft and new U-bolts, since the tubes are bigger.

My "old Iron" 2000 ZL600 http://i1210.photobucket.com/albums/cc420/shawdrainage/sled.jpg I've been wanting to get a newer one (800 Crossfire), but I haven't rode mine for 2 years now....... I used to make it to Michigan about 5 times a year.... But now with the Family, i haven't been up there in 4-5...

Re: Pulling with the wagon

Not surprising that it down shifts alot. The HEMI makes all it's power mid-high rpms.

The mileage is pretty decent too..... considering my 2012 Cummins (emissions deleted and tuned) only gets 9-10 mpg towing my Powerwagon........

Re: 6.1 Hemi

None of the wiring harness needs changed. (Unless using the 6.1 intake manifold, the wiring needs extended to the throttle body). The lockers should work as normal..... I had mine bypassed before I did the swap.

It is actually a very simple swap.

Re: 6.1 Hemi

THe 6.1 goes into the truck with NO issues. It will bolt to the trans. You will have to use your oil pan and front timing cover. (that's using the 5.7 intake manifold) If you want to use the 6.1 intake, you will need the adapter to bolt the front accessories on. Will also need to convert to an elect...

Re: Exhaust cutouts

Never used the electric ones, just seen enough bad reviews. The wing nuts won't stay tight. I replaced with bolt and lock nut and I usually always have a 3/8 drive impact with me to take them off quick.

I went with a 3 bolt flange style. All the electric ones seemed to leak, or needed oiled a lot to keep them working. And if you off road it, not sure how they would like deep water....

Hopefully the Rebel will be the raptor fighter...... And the Powerwagon will stay to its roots.

I'd rather have a 426 HEMI instead of the Hellcat motor.... Or even a alum block 440...... Just my $.02

Full leather interior is back in it, stainless steps are back one. Basically truck is back to a street...

Re: a Plow on a 2010 PW possible?

I had a plow on my 06. Ran a poly 7.5' meyer. The winch could have stayed on, but I took it off, including the bracket. With about 2000# in the bed, I was able to plow in 2wd most of the time. I did slide off a driveway, and couldn't get out in 4hi. Went to 4lo and locked the lockers...... walked ri...

Re: Engine cranks but took a while to fire up

Need to just put a fuel pressure gauge on the fuel rail. Use the remote start so you can watch the gauge. If it builds pressure, and fires, but than loses pressure and dies. You have a fuel problem. If it maintains pressure...... Than it's something else.... and good luck! LOL It's normai for the pu...
