Re: BD 2WD Save

Sorry, what kit are you talking about here? Got a link to it? Sounds like it disables or cuts down the nannies off road in 2wd?

Diff fluid change? Rookie help.

Might have missed it in skimming the posts, does it not matter if the gear oil says w/ or w/o LSD? I'm ordering mine today, just want to make sure I get the right stuff. Never had a truck with fancy electronic gizmos in the diffs, just Detroits and spools, all of which I've ran super heavy SWEPCO 20...

Yellowranger1's Blue Wagon

Thanks for all the responses guys. Tomorrow is 1 full year of ownership, I have the day off so I'll pull the tent and rack off, and get my power tank bracket mounted so I'm not drilling holes after the fact. Going to call and see if I can drop the truck at line x Thursday or Friday, I'm going to hav...

Toyo RTs vs MTs in snow/ice

Can't even get them shipped to CA (for our own safety obviously) I found one place a while back that carried them and when I called they confirmed they couldn't get any new ones shipped here. I picked up 4 used OD green 20L scepters from a guy of expo portal though. I just need to spend some time on...

Re: Yellowranger1's Blue Wagon

Question for those of you who have had the bed sprayed with a liner - are you leaving the plastic caps on the top of the bed rail in place, or spraying the top bed rail? I'm assuming there's some holes for clips along the top, never bothered looking underneath to see if it's a couple or a bunch. Rea...

Thuren .5'' springs

Sounds like the .5" coils would be right for me... if you decide to get rid of yours later, I'll put em to good use!

Yellowranger1's Blue Wagon

Thanks guys! Loving this truck more as the miles click by. Can't believe it's been almost a full year with the Blue whale... for its birthday I think I'm going to break down and remove the tent rack to get the bed sprayed with line-x, as well as some other maintenance/prep I've been wanting to do. N...

Tire Feedback

Those look great! I think they have the mountain snowflake rating as well don't they? I ran a set of the original Falken AT01 on my old truck when they first came out, super smooth solid tires but the sipes on those were maybe 1/3 depth, so they looked almost bald and wet performance suffered when t...

Re: AEV Onyx Black Saltas on a 15

Those are really sharp looking wheels! I like how simple (and easy to clean) the stockers are, but those AEVs sure are pretty. I think that's the only non beadlock aftermarket wheel I'd consider putting on the truck. They get pushed out just the right amount, I'd be really interested to see how the ...

Yellowranger1's Blue Wagon

I've neglected this thread for a bit, only new addition as of late is a whole bunch more pin striping. We've been lucky enough to go to some really awesome places in the past few months... Moab, Big Bear, Sedona, Flagstaff, and some trips up to the Eastern Sierra Nevadas. Here is a few pics from our...

Re: Duratracs have to go, need options.

Bikes on race gas is nice too. The shop I used to work at ran VP c16 in the trucks, brought a tear to your eye... literally! Couldn't help but think of the Tommy boy has station scene around those things LOL!

100% agree, those 40s give me a warm fuzzy feeling... just to further detail this, anyone else love the new tire smell as much as I do? Wish I could get that in an air freshener [emoji23]

The 42" Maxxis are overkill, Mike.... I'll take a set of race spec 40/R17 Toyo RT

Re: Duratracs have to go, need options.

I've been more than happy with my RTs and performance wise, I wouldn't hesitate to run them in a 37. The only thing holding me back is I don't want a full size spare in the bed again. I ran mine in Moab and was very happy with the grip they provided, I was aired down to 25psi and they conform very w...

Re: Trans recall

Got my recall notice, now I have to find a dealer to take it to. I don't trust the one closest to me with anything more involved than wiper blades - my truck won't be going there.

Re: Jeep Truck Spy Photos

I'm guessing all the info on the ad is based off the VIN hence the v6/5spd... I requested info on it just for the hell of it. I'm curious to see what they come back with, clearly says 6.4 on the fender in the pics. Could have missed it but maybe it's used? Hard to believe they'd list it so low if it...

BoldAdventures 2015 Power Wagon Build

I'd chop the rear fender in a heartbeat if there were a good looking wraparound/high clearance bumper option. That's the route I eventually want to go since I'd like a bumper with tire carrier on it. I spoke to mercenary, and it would be a custom job since there isn't really enough demand to make th...

First YouTube video I've uploaded... let's see if this works. https://youtu.be/R8q8lO9-WDg It's a little deceiving, it's a bit more aggressive and louder in person. Mild drone cruising at 65, not annoying but it's there. Sounds badass on acceleration, gotten a couple other Hemi guys asking about the...

I'm uploading a startup video to YouTube as I type, I'll share it here soon as it's done. Mine has a 5x8x18 muffler on it now, still running the stock resonator.
