Ummm! Like the truss! You need a cab cage asap! You have moved into an entirely new level! I don't think I'm going to do one anytime soon. When someone makes a nice WIY kit I would think about it but honestly I'll just pick my lines a bit better and remember I'm Not in a trophy truck yet Sent from ...

Looks good man!
I might eventually do something similar with the rear-end using a Mercenary bumper.
What's the plan for the front bumper? PattonFab tube style?
Oh, and... twin turbos...

Re: dealership does horrible work
... I ended up fixing the death wobble myself because the dealer said they could not find the problem. I had the service advisor give me the torque specs for the front end. Almost every bolt was not even close to the right torque. The Only bolts that were right was the pitman arm and track bar bolt...

Re: Diff protection covers or slider
I have the Carli front diff. guard on my truck, as with most(if not all) of their products it is an overbuilt work of art. One of the most important features for me, was that the bottom of the guard actually covers the bottom lip of the diff. cover.

Re: Baja Designs Squadron Sport vs. Rigid Duelly
If your goal is to see better while driving on the road, the best "bang for your buck" would be a pair of Hella 4000's mounted to a light bar on the front-bumper. Yea except that is illegal basically everywhere if you get caught. Federal DOT regs state you can only have 4 lights on at a time, which...

Re: Baja Designs Squadron Sport vs. Rigid Duelly
I wouldn't fuss too much over the fog-light switch. Contrary to popular opinion, fog-lights are not driving-lights and shouldn't be used with your high-beams anyway. Too much light up-close will cause your pupils to constrict, reducing your ability to see at a distance. Fog-lights are properly used ...

Re: Rock Rails
For a 4th Gen, only White Knuckle and Aluminess make actual "rock rails", anything else is designed solely as a step and would NOT provide any protection to your truck. You get what you pay for. If you plan on wheeling your truck, spend the extra money now to keep your body panels safe, you'll save t...

Looking good.
How does the steering feel with the new Borgeson shaft? I want to remove as much "slop" from my steering as possible, that looks like a good place to start.

Re: Air powered swaybar disconnect !!!
Meh.
Serious question, why is air so much better than electricity?
Do the Rubicons require the transfer case to be placed into 4-high/low in order to disconnect the sway-bar and 4-low for lockers?
If so, I would have been much more impressed with a whole new SmartBar module/bypass system.
IMHO.

So, apparently its been over two months since I've last updated this thread; time sure does fly! Not to worry, the Wagon's been taken good care of, including a few off-road adventures! So first off, about a month ago I purchased a BackRack Original Rack, their Siderails and a Truxedo Lo Pro QT Tonne...

Re: Snorkel options for 4th gen? Anything other than AEV?
Personally, for a 4th Gen. I like the Vararam Air Grabber; if the water is up to the top of your hood, you've got bigger problems
Was gonna suggest maybe a shaker hood/intake as well, but for a 4th Gen. that would have to be custom.

Re: Gears & Tires
THIS is one of the better calculators I've seen, gotta' enter your own numbers though. With a quick calculation, 37's with 4:56 gears ~= 33's with 4.10 gears 2005-2013 Power Wagons have an AAM 10.5" rear axle, the tallest gear ratio currently available is 4.56:1. For some reason I remember a discus...

Can't wait to see what it looks like when everything is finished. Safety equipment may not be sexy, but nothing's more important.

I really like that A-pillar spotlight as well, I've been considering adding something similiar(GoLight) to my BackRack.

Great work on those slida's Digger! I would suggest adding some grip/skid-tape on the top of the outside tube.
