Re: Front end feels loose/vibration as I turn at highway spe
*update* Looks like there was an error when my service contract was entered and the dealer is working to cover the upgrade it to the added care +, have I mentioned my dealer is awesome? As far as the vibration and weird steering issue, gone. The steering shaft was the culprit in my case, much tighte...

Re: Front end feels loose/vibration as I turn at highway spe
Well it turns out all this time I was under the impression I had purchased the Added Care Plus warranty....nope, just the extended powertrain. I am gonna go through my paperwork for it and review it carefully, I paid for Added Care Plus and even got the brochure with my paperwork for it. I am hoppin...

Re: Front end feels loose/vibration as I turn at highway spe
Finally got the truck in to the dealer. Track bar (frame side) was slightly loose, ball joints are just at the limit and should be replaced (having a slight issue w/warranty on them with my service contract) and getting a new intermediate shaft for the steering (39k miles). I have the Added care plu...

Re: Variation in batches of Nitto TG MTs?
I am currently looking at the AT2 extremes and Copper ST Maxx. I really wanted the try the STmaxx when I had dry rot issues with the original set of trail grapplers, but could not get them so I went with TG's again thinking I got a bad set....of what little did I know lol. I will admit, I am also in...

Re: Variation in batches of Nitto TG MTs?
I don't know if they changed the compound of the tires but I also noticed what looks to be faster wear on my second set (got them about a year ago) and they seem noisier as well. I love the tire however I will probable go to a more aggressive AT tire next and go to 35's, just need to find a square s...

Re: Front end feels loose/vibration as I turn at highway spe
Hi all, Been noticing the front end seeming loose and wandering at 55+ along with the steering wheel moving back and forth a little going around a turn (could out of balance tires do this?). Wondering if its time for some front end work and what to look for. Truck has a factory front end (minus the...

Bought bike #2
Picked up a 07' KTM SuperDuke with full Akra exhaust and Dealer tune with 8K miles.
This will be my street/touring bike, leaving me to convert the KLX400 into trail/adventure mode with some knobies.
Can't believe I waited so long to get into Motorcycles!

Re: Mandated Buy Back ordered for Fiat/Chrysler
From what my friend that works at the dealership says its only trucks that did not get the recall work done due to a lack of parts. I am curious to see where this goes, I have a weird feeling in the front end and need to get under there and check the trackbar for play, seems like a loose side to sid...

New (to me) toy for the stable
Picked up a 2003 Kawi KLX400SR Dual Sport, 4500 original miles, super clean, $3300. Always wanted a bike, but not a big fan of cruisers (though I do like the V-Rods) and being a bigger guy along with the speed capable crotch rockets are not in the picture. This thing is a freaking blast to ride, has...

Re: Bed LEDs--Alternate Wiring Question
I have my bed lights tapped into my cargo light switch with no relay. They don't draw enough load to be an issue, I also have LEDs in my cargos. My the 3rd gen the cargo light wire runs along the a-pilar and to the back of the cab, I ran the wires to the cab, grounded in the cab and used a tap conne...

Re: New diff covers on the way for the Power Wagon!!
One of my U bolt ends was hitting my carli front diff plate, trimmed the end of the bolt, problem solved.
I was visiting my friend at the dealer a few weeks ago and there was a big dually in there with a finned front diff cover missing a few fins from the u bolts clearancing them selves.

Thanks for the feedback everyone, I am still interested in getting a set later this year however the winter/cold sounds like it may be an issue if they are not kept clean.

Rear diff protection question/sugestions
Thinking of picking up some form of rear diff protection for piece of mind. Was going to go with a DOR or DT full cover however I think that is overkill for how I use the truck (no serious offroading/rock crawling. I am currently thinking of a Spider cover (full), I think this is the best way to go ...

AMP powersteps reviews (thinking of getting a set)
Howdy,
Thinking of selling my Mopar W2W steps and going with some AMP powersteps for a cleaner look.
Anyone here running them have any complaints at all, I read mixed reviews of winter use and possible jamming/locking up if you don't keep them clean and lubed in the winter.
Thanks.

If you are an Auto, I hear the American Racing Long tube fit good and is a complete kit.
JBA shorties seem to fit well regardless of tranny
and TTI long tubes fit however I don't believe they have a full kit including y-pipe that fits (not 100% sure on that).

Great.......08T....9012...did you ever try 9011s in the fogs? I have not tried the 9011's, if I remember right they are no longer true HIR bulbs. The 9012's are still true HIR's and are also LL (Long Life). I had 9005's before these, there was a little difference going to the 9012's but not a OMG u...
