Re: New PW owner here...friggin excited!
Enjoy your new Power Wagon! 04Ram2500Hemi has some nice looking mudflaps (also dig the rock-rails & lower rhino-liner). Also check out Cory1337 2015 build - think he has Duraflaps. Wish I would have put mud-flaps on my 2003 Ram - rather late now after 10 years of owning it (70,000 miles - by me) the...

Re: Rambox Panel Warping
I have not heard of this issue on Rambox's but have seen and read about similar issues on the Body Color Fender Flares on Laramie trucks (held on with double-sided tape). Similar issue; I would suggest searching on other forums to see if anyone has seen these issues with the Rambox's... There are ma...

Re: Power Wagon snow plow
Copy of DSCF2044.jpg A tractor is fantastic for snow removal; just so long as you don't need to drive too many miles and plow multiple locations. There is a fellow in Vermont with 2011 PW with a Meyer's plow - do a search on plowsite.com - it looked like a pretty nice setup but I would be concerned...

Re: Tow rating
Pretty sure there are a few other threads on here about towing. From what I have read, you should be fine pulling 7000 pound trailer - put some air bags on if you are concerned. I have test drove 2 different power wagons so far (2014 and newer). Both had Ram Boxes. The Tradesman had payload rating o...

Re: 4wd LO acting funky
on my 2004 (not PW) 2500, I have found that transmission must be in neutral to shift into 4-low. I usually come to a complete stop - it has been working well; haven't tried the barely rolling trick. I do have the lever on floor for 4LO, N, 2HI, 4HI. I have been using 4LO almost all the time I go in ...

Re: Things I have learned for 2016
I'm guessing he is looking at instantaneous MPG. I tried out a 2015 Tradesman almost identical to that - it had a bar-graph style MPG read-out (instantaneous) and does also show average MPG. From the short 5 mile test drive; I could see 20 MPG instantaneous when I took my foot off the gas. Average M...

Re: Am I the only one who likes the "work truck" look better
Snowsled - I'm with you on wanting better padding for your elbow on the door panels. I had a GM full size van with the harsh hard plastic inner door panels - it was so bad I couldn't even drive it with short sleeve shirt. On the standard cab tradesman they offer a padded inner door panel as part of ...

Re: Power Wagon sightings
Just saw a new power wagon at motel in town. It's dark so no pictures. (and don't know if I have 5 posts yet). I'm pretty sure manufacter plate but was covered w/ snow. Ram truck & chrysler/dodge comes up here every year for winter testing. The PW had red grill but no digital mud stickers. I know th...

I agree this is probably one of the cleanest, most helpful & (usually) very cordial forumns that I have seen.
Oh, yeah, they also help folks spend lots of money on mods to their trucks

Re: Sad day :( traded in the PW
Too bad about your PW. Glad to hear you like the ramboxes and the 6.4L. Post more info (mpg, interior info, etc.) when you have time. I've been reading about new PW but have also looked at Tradesmans. For 2015 there is a Work Grade Vinyl seat that looks pretty nice. I didn't like the hard vinyl inne...

Re: Cooper STT, ST MAXX, or Duratrac's for new tires.
Don't have a Power Wagon (yet) but have run Cooper STT 10 ply rated for last 3 years on my 03 Dodge 3/4 ton and am very happy with them. There was a little noise on bare blacktop when new but not very noticable lately. I didn't run them in winter the last 2 years but have been the last couple weeks ...
