And “level” is a bit subjective. When these Rams are “level”, by measurement, they tend to look a bit low out back. I have 1.5” spacers under mine, which leaves the back 3/4” or so higher still. I personally would not want the rake any less. When I get the Thuren overland kit, I plan on adding a sp...

Re: Thuren from leveling kit

Put any significant weight in the back and the truck is going to sit nose high like a SoCal bro dozer. Significant weight like 300lbs or 800lbs? I rarely load more than a few hundred lbs in the bed or tow more than 3k-4k pounds. Thinking level will be good for me. If you do the 1.5 springs and find...

Re: Considering a 2018 Power Wagon, help

Main use is mostly a daily driver. Pull a small utility trailer with my 4wheeler and jetski. Some trail stuff. Not concerned with mpg as I get around 9 now. Man for what you are doing the Power Wagon shines. A lot of folks upgrade the rear trackbar (Thuren Fab) but with just a small trailer I think...

Re: Suspension setup to fit 37x12.5s on stock wheels with zero rubbing, esp. on genie lamps?!!

Thanks. Are 13.5 tires just a preference for you or is it better because they’re that much wider? I always liked a skinnier tire that stayed in line with the truck as much as possible. Skinnier is better for cutting through snow too, maybe the same for mud? I apologize if I’m beating this topic to ...

If this question is better posed somewhere else please let me know but I’m wondering what my best option is to use the stock wheels with 37 inch tires. I am waiting for a 19 PW to arrive in the mail in a couple months but I believe most of the suspension is very similar to a 17-18. This truck will ...

Re: New Rear Bumper?

The problems with geometry of a swingout on our trucks comes from the tire. If you have a 35” or smaller you don’t need to relocate the spare tire. So a bumper tire carrier is only for 37-40” tires. If you set a tire of that size on your bumper, you can see that in order to not have the tire itself...

Thank you. The dealer says the key was found and in the mail. I just thought since it was a FCA product, it would come with the nice canvas recovery bag like my Jeep did. I'm sure we are getting the 426 in 2022. It'll probably be the 6.4L upgrade for a bigger size.

CM makes some 6:1 8.5T shackles in 7/8 for like 30 bucks. Skookum makes a 16T 1inch with a 5:1. For lighter stuff I have some 9T Warn Epic 3/4 shackles but they don't publish saftey ratings.

Any expierence with using the pullpal? I’d like to have some kind of Anchor really, I’d rather have too much equipment being by myself. I haven't needed it yet, but I wouldn't go solo without it. Even in a group it would come in handy providing an anchor point where none exists. Pull Pal is used by...

Re: Added 37” BFG KO2s to my 2018

The biggest consideration of 35s vs 37s is where are you gonna put the 37 spare as it won't fit in stock location. I've thought about that. I'd love to do a vertical mount on the bed cover, one one each edge next to the Ram boxes. I think if I elevated the tire about 2" off the bad the doors wold b...

Re: Added 37” BFG KO2s to my 2018

37s on stock wheels will rub some at full lock. I ran through Moab like that, and it's fine I'm now on 37s with +18 offset with 0 rub. My biggest regret and waste of money was not going 37s right off the bat. You don't need to regear. You won't lose MPG except maybe start and stop MPG but your freew...
