Re: How many of you are overweight?

The 3G guys with leaf springs. Be careful of overloading. You could end up bending a leaf spring the wrong way. Just something to think about. I've had 4,000 lbs of dirt from a landscaping place in the back of mine. But I only had to go 4 miles.

Re: EBC YellowStuff or the new Extra Duty Pads?

Thought you already ordered Motul 600 which is Dot 4. Oh, you can get Motul at most motorcycle shops. It's usually cheaper there and have it on stock.

Re: The best kind of Leveling Kit

I ran the Cooper MT' LR D for about 32,000 miles. Liked them alot. With 20 lbs in them, they flexed nicely over rock in Moab. They went good in the mud too. Had no problems with them on the road. On the PW now is a set of Toyo MT's LR E with about 25,000 miles. At 20 lbs. There is not much flex in t...

Be careful as synthetic brake fluid is not a good choice for any ABS systems due to the foaming that the synthetic fluid is prone to. Specifically DOT 5 synthetic brake fluid is not compatible with any conventional ABS system! However the new DOT 5.1 is OK for ABS. http://www.motorweek.org/features...

Re: EBC YellowStuff or the new Extra Duty Pads?

There is a bunch of brake fluids out there. Pick your price range. For your PW. Stick with a Dot 4 fluid. You don't need any of that racing fluid. Just more money. I've been using Motul 600. Only because I use it in the Nismo and bike. The Nismo gets the brakes bled before each trackday. So ...

Ace, when you install the brake pads. Bleed the brake system too. BIG improvement.

Re: EBC YellowStuff or the new Extra Duty Pads?

I like the Yellowstuff pads. Have them on the PW. Just put them on the GC. Used them on the Nismo for trackdays. The next set of pads for the Nismo will be Pagid brake pads. $$$$ Ace, you should look into them.

I've decided that may last day is 1/31/16. :excited: The reason for the date is that I get all of my vacation time (208 hrs), plus all of the company's money for my HSA, and my bonus.

You'll enjoy it. It's nice once you have the camper set up with stuff. Having clothes and other things that you can leave in there. Unlike packing a suitcase every time you want to go somewhere. It's really nice when the motorhome has a washing machine and dryer.

A couple of people at work have the Cherokee and love it. I have a '13 GC Trailhawk. Love it. My wife loves it too. I had one Cherokee, one Liberty, and 4 CG's as second vehicles. Each has been great. :D Hopefully, your's will be too. ;)

Re: Winching with hood up

A windshield is cheaper than a hood if you are standing beside the vehicle, if you are driving the hood must be down anyway. And thats why you should have one of these: http://www.4wheelparts.com/aux_incl/images.ashx?i=4WD_ARB220.jpg&partNo=ARB&w=450&h=450 Yea, I got one of those some place in my t...
