Re: Unsolicited Advice on Tires

Some free advice: Get out your wallet and pony up for Toyos. They will be round, just the way you'd expect them to be. You will not save money buying cheap tires, they are cheap for a reason. Yeah yeah yeah, I know, Cooper has a good reputation...enjoy the three pounds of lead they're about to stic...

Re: Facebook Group & Forum - Tire Popularity Poll

I don't facebook. I put Micky Thompson ATZ P3s on the 16. I liked them a lot. Now I have a new 19 and am back to the Duracraps that came with it. Going to get another set of the ATZs when my wallet recovers from buying the new truck. Sell the duratracs while they are new. You would be roughly half ...

Re: Overland 1.5 inch Spring w/King OEM 2.5 Shock

If you changed out coilovers on a Tundra I would think you would have no prob changing out the springs on the power wagon. Biggest thing is to watch out for the brake lines and electrical lines getting stretched when dropping the axles down. Unhooking the track bars and sway bars helps a ton as well...

Re: how to fix axle hop? 2018 PFA

Yea, low tire pressure helps. As does larger tires with more sidewall. However, I dont think you can completely rid the truck of it... its just a trait of the suspension design and a super heavy truck. But yea, it sucks for sure. Annoying as hell. I have the same issue in the sand dunes as well as i...

Purchased these Yokohama Geolander X-MT’s on July 5th and have been very happy. Seem just slightly louder than stock, but nothing obnoxious. They are the 35/12.5’s on stock wheels obviously.
Nice looking tire!

Oh and nice to see a fellow michigander on here! Where at in mi are you located?

I actually meant to say 315 70 17 tire and was wondering if it will fit in the pair tire spot?
Many do fit. Its definitely a tight fit, though.

Why only 10.5 for the spare? The width isnt the issue with getting it in the stock location.

Re: Bought a 2019 Chevy Colorado ZR2

I’ve spent the last three days in the wife’s ZR2, and I have to say, I really like this thing. It’s fairly zippy (I’d take an extra 100hp), the seats are pretty comfy, and it rides pretty well. I’m not saying it’s something I’d trade a Power Wagon for, but these really are pretty nice little trucks...

What if you simply dont use the “auto” function? Does that override that setup?

Cant go wrong with either of those for diff protection. However carli is only the front, so if you want to keep it “uniform” then go purple cranium and be done with it. Cant wait to see how your added battery setup in the rambox turns out. Ive been thinking about doing something like that for a whi...

Re: Torq's Build - 2017 RAM Power Wagon (Nickname Undecided)

I had the same passenger side ocd squeak as well. Ended up being a washer rubbing on the body. Took the bolt out, ground down a flat spot on the washer, and reinstalled so the flat spot was now pointing toward the body. Noise be gone. Awesome. I'll try that and report back on how it works. It's bug...

Standalone, electric sway bar disconnect with the flip of a switch. Currently testing the prototype on my truck. It will work on any SmartBar, PW or Jeep. Re: Cooper or Maxxis?

I'm on my 3rd set of 37" Cooper STT Pros. Nothing but good things to say overall, but there is some variation based on size. I've run these tires year round and found them to perform well overall. First set was 37X13.50R17LT . Required little weight to balance. Very tough/heavy tire. 85 PSI max E r...

Good luck finding a 315/80/17, Ive never seen such a size. However, a 37x12.5/17 is basically the same size and is readily available.
