Re: If you own a 2015 PW and it's hesitating/surging...

Will do. The warranty saved me money on the valvetrain issues but the hassle is only worth it if something expensive needs replaced/fixed as was the case for me. Agreed. I have gone back and forth with myself trying to determine if I should keep the lifetime warranty or not. Between worrying about ...

Re: If you own a 2015 PW and it's hesitating/surging...

The egr is not covered by warranty at 3 plus years and 55k. I’m going to order it and replace myself in the next few weeks I suppose. Please keep us posted on how the replacement goes. Even with the lifetime warranty and under 20k miles on mine, I think I would still rather do it myself than have t...

The coolant resevoir?!???! Really? Yes, it has all kinds of shit in it after they replaced the cam and lifters. Looks like oil and coolant mixed together which is why dealer is replacing it since they caused it doing the work. They will flush the system as well. Well I understand that... but do the...

And dw isnt always necessarily caused by one worn part. It can often be a combination of several slightly worn parts.

Going to use this as a camping rig and part time driver. Dragging a lowered 06 mega cab dually through the di...

Yes, I have noticed that after a tire rotation it takes a bit for the computer to switch/change sensors.

olyelr, google some more. There are many threads about the part throttle surging and egr tsb for 2016s. I can't find anything for 2015s but the behavior described is identical. Start here......

Re: 2015 6.4 Hemi EGR Issues?

This surging you are talking about... you mean like a shudder type feeling under those driving circumstances? I have read a few or more threads about this, and I have never seen anyone who has pinpointed the root cause or had it remedied. My truck does it as well ('16). It is annoying AF. Pretty muc...

Re: 2.5s versus 3" Kings

I would never go back to 2.5’s but I use my truck all the time for play and work. 3.0’s ride smoother than comparably valved 2.5’s while also having more bottom out resistance, like Colibri said. If you’re asking if you need 3.0’s, you don’t even need 2.5’s. But ‘need’ is a terrible word and antith...

Maybe a thin spacer setup that raised it a bit too? Or would that put it into Thurens mount for the track bar?

I am surprised nobody else has noticed this. There must be a half dozen people just on this site with this setup.

Not yet. Generally it’s the first or second week of June before Flathead Lake is full enough to launch the boats. I’m hoping for next weekend.

Full enough? Lol

I guess I am pretty blessed with the Chain-O-Lakes around me as well as all of the Great Lakes.

Yea thats nice! At least they didnt look at the rear diff cover and call off the warranty like some dealers would probably try to do. Or use the prior bigger tires as an excuse.

After reading through the instructions it sounded like I would need to set the length and then tighten the heim joint jam nut to 200ft/lbs. Is that not the case?
I would assume that is the case, if that is what the directions state.
