I'd guess they're talking about the 3G and earlier 4G wheels with the center cap that covers the wheel studs.

Yea, me too... but they did write RAM. Their other literature indicates they wont fit.

Re: DYNALOC™ HUBS

Yes, I did read it, did you? :poke: It states right at the bottom of the page “Dynatrac has confirmed fitment of the following wheels”... with “RAM Power Wagon” being first on the list. Technically, I dont think “RAM” would include the older power wagons... they are “Dodge” :duel: The simply answer ...

Re: DYNALOC™ HUBS

Well according to this page on their website, the Power Wagon wheels fit!!

https://www.dynatrac.com/downloads/2014 ... ion-V1.pdf

That is, if they are not reffering to the prior Pwer Wagon wheels. Hmmmm.

I have heard that the Toyo RT rides better and handles better than the AT2 in all scenarios. Interesting considering what they are both built for!
For sure! I haven't heard (or read) that yet.

Re: 35" tire for those of us that tow?

Discount Tire has their own chart of tire/wheel mates that they follow. They would not mount 12.5” wide tires on my stock Rubicon wheels for me, I had to take the tires down the road elsewhere. Told me they wouldnt because the manufacturer recommends a minimum of an 8.5” wheel. I even offered to si...

Re: 35" tire for those of us that tow?

The Hutchinson beadlock wheels are the answer in my mind. But get out your wallet lol. As far as a 12.5” wide tire on an 8” wheel goes, there is absolutley no functional issue there. However, some name brand company’s will not mount them due to the manufactures rec’s. My local Discount Tire will not...

Re: TrailWhalePowerwagon 2018 PW

Well hell, the odd trans shifting and shoddy throttle response is basically my only major complaint with the truck thus far. I just might try the dang thing then. If it makes the truck much more enjoyable to drive then that is a win in my book, regardless if it does not technically give the truck mo...

The only half ton with the short 5.5’ box is the full crew cab model, which can also come with the full size 6.5’ box like our trucks have. The short 4 door and regular cab come with the same size box we have also. Never once have I seen a long bed 1500 with Ramboxes, is it even an option? I see th...

The 1500’s have shorter boxes and a different design, the lids won’t swap.

Re: Fender Flares

Ive really only heard of the few people on here with the problems. I bet if I googled it I would find more. Yeah that definitely does suck. I was a little mad at first because my drivers side one sticks up like a 1/16-1/8” higher than the bed when closed, but hell I can live with that as long as it ...

I think I read on another forum (that I am not signed up for) that you installed a Pedal Commander and highly recommend it. Is that the case and can you elaborate? If the 1500 ram boxes don’t have this problem, can you get a pair of lids from one of them and swap them over?
The majority of the half tons have the extra short box. Those wouldnt work. I would guess the one with the full size short box are identical to our trucks.

If I ever order another truck, it will not be with Ramboxes. Not unless they change the design significantly.

How much for the wheels shipped to 49648? I'm getting insane shipping quotes. Best guess is 33x33x13 size package and 75 pound weight. Offer I had was $1100 for the whole set with TPMS sensors. If you want to figure out shipping, I'll ship them idc. I just want the wheels. I am not really intereste...

So did you gain some lift in back with the Carli springs then? At 2.5" of lift up front, you would have the sagging ass look if they were stock height.

Re: Yellowranger1's Blue Wagon

Well thats the problem with leveled trucks. You load them up and they look like they are saggingin the back.... well, because they ARE sagging. Truth is, Carli and Thuren spring probably dont sag much more than the factory PW springs. The difference is the truck is level BEFORE the sagging, unlike a...

Well jeeezuz, no wonder its a stroke of luck half the time for a locker to actually lock up. Why the heck do they have to make it so complicated?! (I guess I know the answer to that)

Great info BLM, thanks for the update!
