Re: 2020 Power Wagon - Spied

I wonder what the added dinglebarry is on the roof between the cab lights is.

Also, there is an added protrusion under the drivers mirror. 360 degree camera maybe?

And no interior pics?

I would have sat there and waited for the driver to come out and just start bombarding them with questions.

Re: Perfect world PW

Well here is a small bit of info for all of u. I have looked closely at the test mule we have in our test garage and it will have the same drive train for now. There is a small update to the trans but can't say what. Also the front end will be a little longer it seems. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using...

Have any specific questions on the EGR? It's a relatively easy swap but it didn't solve a thing for me.

Rough cost for parts? I was mainly wondering if it cured any of your issues. I want this relatively minor chugging and bucking to go away... its driving me infawkingsane.

Re: 6.4 NOT Getting up to Temp?

The 6.4 does have a coolant/oil heat exchanger but that is only for the engine oil. Dropping rams temps from higher throttle are likely due to higher oil flow and the cooled oil from the trans cooler rushing in. Nick doesn't have a problem with high oil flow. That might have been geared towards my ...

Re: 6.4 NOT Getting up to Temp?

Yea i wouldnt say rapidly. But I have noticed under a large high speed hill climb while towing our tt under heavy throttle that the temps in the trans actually lowered from something like 172 to 168. I thought it was odd because I just figured it would go UP at least a few degree’s if not more, but ...

Re: 6.4 NOT Getting up to Temp?

I've always wondered why my truck will go from a normal temp of 205-212 or so down to 195 in a hurry if I mash the skinny pedal. That's why I've always suspected some kind of electrical control. If these wax motors react slowly i'm guessing it takes very little movement to change coolant flow with ...

Honestly surprised that's all they charge. I thought dealers had a 500.00 Minimum.
And Im surprised they charged anything at all.

Bill, no lifetime warranty? (although maybe it wouldn't be covered anyway).

Hahahahahahaha. Looks like they chose the two foot box option instead of a long wheel base.

Re: The Gladiator returns...

These trucks are going to sell like hotcakes. I don't think it's a vehicle for me, but I really like it. They basically took the AEV Brute and made it affordable and with a full FCA backed warranty. Just like the LJ, Jeep fucked up the departure angle. Theres really only one way to fix that. Shorte...

Honestly, it seems like those will probably work just as good, if not better, in moab. Not really sure what a mud terrain would improve on in hard/slick rock. Maybe durability?

Regardless, let us know how you like em! they should be night and day better on snowy roads!

Ive got somewhere around 23k on my ‘16, change the oil just about once a year at roughly 6000-8000 miles, and its never been a drop low that I can tell on the dipstick.

What oil are you using?

I haven't seen one. Dealer has been keeping a healthy stock of 2018s. I'm still bummed FCA/Ram Trucks never bothered putting Omaha Orange for the top tier versions of the Power Wagon. Omaha orange? Top tier? Opinions are like assholes... I would have to guess 9 out of 10 people would rather not hav...
