Re: 2020 Power Wagon - Spied
Well my friend has his Jeep being repaired and his insurance gave him this for a loaner. He let me drive it back from lunch. Pretty basic as for options but still pretty nice. Compared to my truck with a hemifever tune it really has a lot of throttle lag. Seems like u have to press the pedal down h...

Re: Not a PW owner ... YET!
I ordered the “Tradewagon” Say it with me now, “I ordered my Power Wagon...”. The running gear is what makes a Power Wagon what it is. The trim level of the cab sitting on top of it is irrelevant. The mouth breathers who think trucks are defined by what stickers get put on them can keep that real/f...

Re: Not a PW owner ... YET!
Yeah I guess the biggest appeal to the 2018s currently is that you can probably get a pretty decent deal on one. It looks like you can potentially take almost $10k off of a 2018 right now. You can almost always get about $10k off MSRP on a Power Wagon, including in 2014 when the 6.4L and suspension...

Re: 11.5 swap
I don't think you'll find an 11.5" TracRite GTL unless it's out of a 2014+ Power Wagon, and then it will have axle mounts for the coil spring rear suspension on it that you would need to cut off. I think the strategy most take when doing an 11.5" swap on 3G and pre-2014 4G trucks is to get an axle f...

Re: Sliders
Well I’m going to have to wait on the WK’s until I can convince my wife that they are a good investment. In the mean time, I’m going to put some nerf steps on it. Anyone had experience with these? Rough country stuff is usually not very high quality, but I like the look of these way better than any...

I've heard second hand accounts of this, the culprit was moisture getting into the camera lens. Looks like replacements are about $80.

Re: Viair vs ARB
Dang guys, was doing some research, I think I found something better than the ARBTwin at a GREAT VALUE if you wanted to copy my method of 1 per tire. VIAIR 444C 200 PSI Dual Value Pack $289.95 & FREE Shipping - $579.90 so just a touch more than the ARBTwin but you will have 4 compressors putting ou...

C791EDB7-5BD3-4F85-92B2-34D3FB079330.jpeg I picked up a Carli and got the RuffStuff rear cover back from the powdercoaters today. I had to order what was available to me and in AK the shipping options are limited! Should work out well, hopefully. Purple Cranium can fit front and rear covers into on...

Thanks. Are 13.5 tires just a preference for you or is it better because they’re that much wider? I always liked a skinnier tire that stayed in line with the truck as much as possible. Skinnier is better for cutting through snow too, maybe the same for mud? I apologize if I’m beating this topic to ...

Re: 2013 Again?
Good Info. Thanks! I like that it is still kind of incognito power wagon looking compared to all the flashy graphics of later year models. Not liking that it has almost 100k on it already though. The Laramie trim package (what you’re looking at here) was offered through 2016. The Tradesman trim pac...

Re: Viair vs ARB
Nothing is as fast or quiet as co2 That's for sure, but I don't want to deal with having to refill it or constantly worry about running out when its really needed. Plus it's pretty big to store. A fish scale alleviates the worry about running out unexpectedly. CO2 is measured by weight, you know ex...

Re: 2013 Again?
Speaking of 2013 again. is this a good year for PW's? Looking at this one for sale. https://denver.craigslist.org/ctd/d/longmont-2013-ram-2500-powerwagon/6823425317.html It’s the last year of the 5.7L Hemi and control arm front, leaf sprung rear, but has the new interior of the 2014+ trucks. A good...

Viair vs ARB
How about dual Viair compressors of some sort hooked up to a 5+ gallon tank? Seems like the OBA setups only come with 2.5 gallon tanks max. I'm wondering if the larger tank like 5 gallon would be beneficial for airing up all 4 tires from 20psi-40/35 quickly. A 5 gallon tank like this design could w...

Anchorage CJDR has a bad reputation on the Jeep FB group for their service department killing Jeeps. I've never taken a vehicle to them, but having read other people's accounts, I never will.

Re: 2017/18 Ram recalls
Avoid Anchorage CJDR (by Merrill field) like the plague. I have several recalls I’ve been putting off simply because getting them done is a PITA. If you want to share who you end up taking it to and how your experience goes I’d like to hear it. The Lithia service department has been alright to deal ...

Congrats on the pending new truck. You may find Tradesman shaming on FB or other forums, but there's none of that here. A Power Wagon is a Power Wagon, regardless of trim level. Welcome to the fun!
