Re: Trackhawk

That's a nice car and a great value for $55k. I'm not sure why it is but I always see HCs in stock at some random Dodge dealer half way between Missoula and Kalispell. I think at one point last year they had six or seven. It's in the middle of no where. Agree, I'd have a hard time paying the $74K s...

Re: Trackhawk

I disagree. The real value of the Hellcat series of vehicles is the factory warranty on the 707HP feature. That's 30k miles of 1/4 mile launches and smokey burnouts backed by the factory. The Chargers, Challengers, and GC's are generally pretty low quality compared to an M5, M6, or X5/6M. The insid...

Re: Trackhawk

X5-6M are great cars...and tuned....get out of here the real value is the fact that the trackhawks value should be 88k no more... Jeeps hold CRAZY value, or so Koons told me when negotiating my wife's TrailHawk vs. an R/T Durango. They have several SRT Jeep GC's and they were all at or above $80K (...

Got a link to the $88,000 Demon? I’ve yet to see one selling for under $100,000 Isnt the MSRP under $90K? Are they selling for over MSRP? Every Demon is selling well over MSPR. I've yet to see one under $100,000. I've seen them as high as $130,000. Take a look at Ebay and you'll see what I mean. Th...

Re: Trackhawk

Got a link to the $88,000 Demon? I’ve yet to see one selling for under $100,000 Nope, they're all a pre-sold order. They actually had 2, black and mango. Both were stickered for around $88K, the dealer wasn't gouging the buyers. But the owner of the black one was trying to use the dealer as the sho...

I'm sorry this has happened. It's abhorrent what govn't overreach and the nanny state have done to bastardize utilization of OUR resources. Makes me sad and rethink my occupation sometimes. Best of luck in your individual vacations. I hope you all still get a chance to meet up with each other.

Re: DIY not-a-Power Tank

Yesterday I tore apart the inflation gun and did surgery on all the flow ports. There was room to open things up quite a bit. I also swapped the closed-flow clip on chuck for an open-flow screw-on chuck. Those two changes cut the inflation time in half. I did have to return the high-flow quick conn...

Re: Trackhawk

There's 11 of them at Koons in McLean, VA (largest CJR Dealer on East Coast), which means they're as competitive as possible on price, and not a single one listed under $90K, most were $95K+. I had my Hellcat in for the 6K mile free mx, and had my steering wheel replaced under warranty, and they let...

Re: 2018 Power Wagon, White Rhino

Did I mention I really want to regear to 4.88, bc I do. Also looking for a tuner that will recalibrate my trans and speedo for the 37s. Does anyone have a current mfg and part number list for 4.88 gears on a 2014+ PW? I agree. Thats what has kept me from putting 37s on the truck in the first place....

Re: 2018 Power Wagon, White Rhino

surprised how much you melted the bumper... that is exactly where i was going to dump mine... you certainly did forget to add a turndown tip. you can turndown and lose clearance. the velocity of the exhaust at 4k would have put that heat directly into the pavement. you certainly made me more cautio...

Suggest tagging and bookmarking the Army Manual on rigging and winching linked below---I'll spare the pedantic resuscitation of force calcs, but suffice it to say, there's math to be done if you're concerned about breaking strengths.

Once I peeled all the garish stickers off my 15 I noticed it was kinda 2 toned. Nothing like the retro stuff, but I like it.

Re: 40-Inch Tire Discussion (Or anything bigger than 37's)

38’s or 40’s ?? 38’s are looking pretty reasonable. And I could run them a lot sooner, with less mods. Way less. Sorta. The difference between 40's and 38's is... It’s 2 inches actually, seems insignificant, until my wife told me it was the deal breaker with her old boyfriend once we started dating...

My Challenger HC gets around 13mpg in town, but if I behave on the highway and set the cruise at 80mph I can get 24mpg. My Power Wagon is 14mpg at best on the highway (at 80mph it's closer to 12mpg). Obviously two different vehicles built for two different things. I'm curious to see how this chip t...

This 2005 is in Brewerton, NY, so you east coast guys have a chance on this one. It says that the battery is dead and may need other repairs. With only 83285 miles, I bet if you put a battery in, it would drive away. If nothing else it could be a good parts truck for someone. Current bid $3510.00, ...

For as much shit as we give them, if they just marketed it honestly, and stopped acting like it’s something it’s not and maybe lowered the price by 800.00 I probably wouldn’t say shit about it. But “it’s not a spacer lift” and “engineering” and “factory handling” and “our shit don’t stink” But I’m ...
