Re: Chains up front?
What does the owner's manual say? Mine says no go. Just asking the obvious. Seems contact with something as the front components are pretty close to inboard side of tire. Manual says rear only for 2500, 2500 Power Wagon, and 3500 SRW. Interestingly it says Front or Rear for 3500 DRW. I can’t imagin...

Re: Facebook Group & Forum - Tire Popularity Poll
I hated bfg’s until I saw video. They’ve won me over from here on out. I've probably gone through 6-7 sets of the BFG ATs (old and new version) over the years. They're good in the snow and have strong sidewalls. Pretty much worthless in mud and wear fairly fast on a PW. I always started to look for...

Re: Can you program air condition functions?
My 15 Laramie pw seat heater goes on automatically when it’s 42 or lower and the seat ac goes on when it’s warmer than 80. Don’t know how to change those settings. Don’t really care as I like it like that. There are many settings available for the ac air flow and settings. In the main climate contr...

Re: The "Real Reliability"
Sorry to hear about all the stuff you've had to deal with. My '16 has been *very* reliable so far, but I'm also only at 33500 miles. The single biggest source of frustration for me, is the transmission. It's been perfectly reliable for me, but it's so damn clunky and crude. The shifts are smooth in,...

might be a long shot, but does anyone have a winch mount that would fit my mega? or know of where I could get one. Emailed a few places with no luck from car-part.com. It doesn't have to be pretty, just functional. I am in lower Michigan Not sure where in lower mi you are, but here is a power wagon...

Re: 37s with overland extreme questions
Whatever BS you need to tell yourself for adjusting the throttle position sensors parameters. Well, sure it doesnt add any more power or anything like that, but if the truck FEELS like it has more power and the throttle response is much better and it makes the drive ability of the vehicle ...

Yea. You’d mostly likely be better of just regearing your current axles and adding lockers.

One of the Moab attendees last year blew his front axle. When he got a new one in he did free spins and had a 13 shaft turned down to fit the axle seal. He now has a non-CAD axle. The free spins aren’t necessary, so you can save a lot of money with just a machined axleshaft. The free spins allow yo...
