Re: Ignition sense ?

Did you fuse the wire at the tap, or are you relying on F93 for overcurrent protection? I ask because you won't put much of a load on the new wire using it to throw a relay. What size is F93?

Hey Rusty, gonna be in your state next month. Nowhere near you though, in Philly for a day, eat at the Reading Terminal Market, then go either up or down the coast, eat some good seafood & come home. You can hit up on Ace and Firerescue. They are both near Philly. Yes, sir. I still have your number...

My work truck is a Z71. When my boss bought it for me, he didn't want the other guys to get all pissy, so he had the sticker removed...[emoji852]

Re: Kinzer Off-Road Bumper - Reviewed - Moab Tested

Some of it looks like flux core, some looks like poor gas coverage. Weird to see both on the same piece. He wasn't doing any of the welding, correct?

Isn't the odor of antifreeze in 4-4.5Gs something that was discussed a while back? Did anyone come up with a cause?

I seem to remember it being a common complaint.

Re: Toyo RTs vs MTs in snow/ice

I've had RTs for about a year. They handle well in rain and on dry roads. We didn't have as much snow on my side of the Keystone as Rusty, so I really haven't tested them hard. But what we did have was no problem at all for them.

I like the idea. What's wrong with a little imagination? Remember the 50's and 60's? People willing to work on their own stuff. I've considered the same think for the aluminum wheels.

Welcome! It sounds like you are almost set up with the items you have planned. You mentioned the Thuren Overland for leveling the truck. The one major-ish upgrade that could make a difference is good shocks. King and Fox are 2 good choices, both available from Thuren. Otherwise, from your descriptio...

Re: Duratracs have to go, need options.

I have 35" R/Ts on my PW. We were at Rausch Creek ORP this weekend and I had no problems on rocks, in mud, or any other terrain there. Now, honestly, it isn't Moab, but I can compare them to the M/Ts I had for the last few years on the same terrain. There wasn't anywhere I went with M/Ts that I coul...
