Re: Apparently Toyo 37 MT are type 99 tires in bcm
Mine go on tomorrow for PWIM. Hoping I don’t regret the MT choice next winter... If you think they are gonna not slip and slide around on the main roads you will be in for a treat! Mine handled snow and ice just fine this winter. It's all relative - if you've only run M/T tires on a specific vehicl...

Re: Axle Seals worn frequently?
I'll fix up the signature. This is all on a 2010. The dealer said it is the cold weather that the seals can't handle. I drive the truck on occasion through -40C/-40F temperatures. Generally the truck sits in the driveway for one week or more at a time. I walk to work and use the truck for outdoor t...

The same reason 40's won't work with the stock bumper or OE fenders, there's not enough clearance. Look at side profile pictures of the bumper with stock fenders and flares.

Do you have a standard Thuren 4th Gen bumper? If you do, 40's will not work with it.

Re: 2013+ truck steering nut recall?
Apparently the problem has to do with the sleeve, not the nuts. The material is to soft or the threads are out of tolerance compared to the shaft. The sleeve is jumping threads on the male threaded shaft, thus appearing as if the nuts loosened. Loctite won't fix that. FCA has determined that tighte...

Re: 11.5 swap
Would be any difference inside the pumpkin for using the e-locker? No, the carrier is the same. I'm using gears from 2012 C&C 11.5 in my '14+ 11.5. I was thinking more like the housing it's self. Where the wires go through and stuff like that. Yes, you'd have to drill a hole for the locker wires to...

Different carriers have different ring gear flange locations. I believe 3.42 or 3.73 is the cutoff. Your carrier is correct for those gears.

You can fit 40's on -32 wheels with just a set of Thuren front coils without any rubbing. Just a little trimming required.

Aloha from Hawaii. I'm in need of some advice for future plans to my baby. My plans are to install ARH long tube headers, a procharger, tune, ECM, and exhaust. I was planning on doing headers and exhaust first. Do I require a tune? Then procharger ECM, tune all at once. I'd love to hear everyone ad...

Re: New Rear Bumper?
The problems with geometry of a swingout on our trucks comes from the tire. If you have a 35” or smaller you don’t need to relocate the spare tire. So a bumper tire carrier is only for 37-40” tires. If you set a tire of that size on your bumper, you can see that in order to not have the tire itself...

He takes LARPing to a whole new level. He used to claim he was law enforcement then it came out he was one of the people that bought a badge from the sheriff in NM.

Re: Big Mods to a 2014+
Ok, that makes sense. I am seeing crate HC engine for $15K, would the swap be worth it, or would it make more sense to build the 6.4? You'd still have all of the tuning and transmission issues. I think the swap has been done though. When it's all said and done I'd bet the HC swap would cost just as...
