There is no clip. The design of the Neoprene "grommet" holds the pin when you push it in. Large Channel lock/water pump pliers work to push them together.

Nice lights Morgan! Like Gravels said, you get the odd dumbass who thinks its ok to run them with oncoming traffic and burn a hole in everyone's retinas. They are incredibly bright and are a great idea for off road but are flat out dangerous on the highway. Prices are coming down and I've been thin...

Hard to find any good pictures but the 3rd gen winches (like mine) appear to have the motor on the drivers side and are the reverse rotation winches. All the winch pictures I can find of the 4th gen winches show the motor on the pass side but the use the same over the drum wrap style. So a 4th gen w...

There are a couple of trucks local to me the flat brimmers have done completely in bedliner and they look like ASS.
I think also if you didn't get a perfect seal when you did it the rust might get under it and bubble it like crazy.

I already did. I asked if winch still worked, when was the last time the Lockers were tested, & if they changed the axels, gears, & torque converter to accommodate the after market dually mod. Still waiting. You forgot to ask how they stretched the frame for the Mega Cab. Right, why be a ...

Re: 1977 powerwagon cummins build
The rest of the drivetrain including the frame is not really up to the power the Cummins can make either. Those old unit hub 44s had problems with general usage, the added weight of a cummins would kill them in short order. Better off to find 3/4 ton regular cab with a diesel and dead body and just ...

When I bought my Wagon some of the guys were asking why I didn't buy a CUMMINS. Not worth it for me, I don't tow enough or put enough mileage on to make it worth while.

Have a set of 35" on my SASed Dakota. Good year round traction and very quiet for a mud tire. For the record they are made by Cooper.old sole mopar wrote:Anyone try the procomp mt2 yet? The new ones. They look promising.

I just put a used set of 35" Nitto Mud Grapplers on my truck and they seem to work well in the snow and surprisingly good on the icy roads but it is like flying a Cessna down the highway. Very loud, not a good choice for long trips.

Our roller are better than a fairlead. The way they are designed eliminates any pinch points and a roller is better at reducing friction than a fairlead. That said, we use a fairlead on the JKUR, and it's done a stellar job. :poke: Actually rollers are a roller fairlead. A hawse is a hawse fairlead...

I LOVE my Cooper STT's. I have literally walked through an area (mud) where 2 trucks could not make it through, without even spinning a tire. They were amazed. 1st gear on a G56 is darn low, 6.29:1. That being said, tires were brand new (stock size) and the other 2 trucks had street tread tires on ...
