Re: EasyDoesIt's Build - 2018 Power Wagon "White Rhino"

...I used the AEV Procal to change the gears to 4.88 since they dont list 5.13. Although I've heard this does nothing, I figured it couldnt hurt. I remember reading on their forum at some point that the 5.13 switch position listed for their Jeep Procal also works with the Ram Procal, it was just an...

Does AAM not offer a 5.13 gearset for the front?
They do. I chose to go with Yukon.

Re: EasyDoesIt's Build - 2018 Power Wagon "White Rhino"

I picked up my truck yesterday, 5.13s installed and currently going through break in. I've noticed my shifts are a bit quicker and take off is definitely faster, even though I cant mash the skinny pedal yet. I used the AEV Procal to change the gears to 4.88 since they dont list 5.13. Although I've h...

Re: 37s with overland extreme questions

I don't think you can go wrong with the Extreme Kit or anything Thuren. But if your truck is newer, you aren't trying to correct an issue caused by worn suspension, and you don't have a heavy load mounted above your bed, then I would spend my money a little differently. With a Roughly $2,500 budget ...

Re: Parksense Sensors

I'll be honest, I use the front ones every day when parking and wouldn't want a full size lifted truck without them. With this big of truck I need every inch of most parking spots.

Different strokes for different folks I guess.

It's happened to me a handful of times over the last 2 years. 9 times out of 10 it corrects itself in 5 minutes. Otherwise it disappears when I turn off and restart the truck.

Re: Welding Axle Tubes

Thanks for the feedback guys. For $100-$200 I figured it couldnt hurt but if its not worth the money and effort than I'll pass until I'm ready to go full retard with 40s and a supercharger.

I'll put the money back in King 2.5" piggy bank.

Welding Axle Tubes

I've lined up a date for my 5.13 gear swap and figured while they were in there replacing seals I might as well have them throw a couple beads on the axle tubes. My concern is twisting an axle tube with 37s (maybe bigger in the future) under heavy acceleration on or Offroad. I'm not ready to go all ...

This is another alternative if you don't need luxury but want to haul your quads/side by side ect.... http://www.jumpingjacktrailers.com/ I've got a good friend that has two of these and has probably 300 nights of camping and hard offroading in them. He hunts coyotes all over the West and Southwest...

Do you have part numbers for the below... Re: October is expensive truck month, part 2

Quick review after having my 37" tires and 5.13 gears for a week... This truck is awesome! If anyone wants to run 37" tires, I highly recommend the AAM 5.13 gears. The truck feels fantastic. That and the AEV Procal to set the gear ratio and the tire size has it driving better than stock. To return ...

Re: Can using the ProCal prevent Uconnect update?

I have the procal and mine updated successfully. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Same, mines a 2018. You might try disconnecting your battery for an hour to try and reset the system. I'd try that or maybe pulling and replacing the applicable fuses before going to the dealer. Good luck, Steve

I do love a black truck with the gray decals. But I could never own another black truck...too dusty and too many pinstripes.

Truck looks badass with those bronze wheels.

Re: Seat Height and headroom issues.

If it's not a power seat maybe find a power seat to swap in that will allow you to lower your seat.

Otherwise you have to look at a custom seat bottom or seat mount/bracket.

Sunroofs really kill the head room on these trucks and pretty much any truck out there.
