Re: 2017 PW Build & Price Available Now

is there a thread already on here for differences from year to year for the last few years on here? How far back are you looking? There really haven't been any significant changes (barring the current cosmetic change) since 2014-1/2. The only one that I'm even aware of is that the 2016 Laramies gai...

Re: 2017 PW Build & Price Available Now

That''s why I was so grateful with supplier pricing - same price at each dealer - even on an ordered truck  :secret: I think we need more info on this. An explanation is in order. Especially from a fellow New Yorker. :D  I agree, also a fellow NY'r and in the market!!

Re: 2017 PW Build & Price Available Now

So I went hoping for the 10k off alot of guys were able to get. Was only offered 2k off and another 2750 in available rebates. I got another dealer to try. Also been seeing some low mileage year or 2 old ones pop up but with minimal options. Wouldn't mind grabbing one of them either if I find the ri...

Re: 2017 PW Build & Price Available Now

Nic, Just in case you're still unclear, there are three trim levels of PW. Power Wagon option on a Tradesman 2500. This is the work truck package. Black plastic trim, bare bones interior, lots of color options available. Power Wagon. This is is the one that got the cosmetic makeover for 2017. They ...

Re: Thinking about buying but for some questions

just to be clear, i know i put the emphasis on ride comfort but that is not what im buying the vehicle for. the PW has checked all the important boxes for me. the only box left is the one for does it ride better than my SD. as ive said i am not looking for caddy smooth i just dont want to have anoth...

Re: Thinking about buying but for some questions

But honestly, I am not so sure what the big deal with ride quality is all about. I mean, I am not complaining about it by any means... its great in my opinion. But, its a 3/4 ton truck. If you want a plush ride then you might want to look elsewhere. In my opinion, buy the truck for its main off roa...

Re: Thinking about buying but for some questions

To expand on my comment about the ride quality... I have no brand loyalty when it comes to vehicles. In the year before I bought my PW I drove a 2007 Chevy 2500 daily (company truck), with occasional seat time in several F-250s of various vintages (also company trucks). Since owning my PW, I get oc...

Re: Thinking about buying but for some questions

Hey NickPic83, I thought that username looked familiar. I used to be on the Raptor forum, and obviously a Raptor owner too (2012). Got hit in the Raptor and after shop fixed the bumpers, body work and drivers seat, found frame damage. Traded that Raptor on a 2016 PW. So in my opinion after driving ...

Re: 2017 PW Build & Price Available Now

no more Laramie Power Wagon (not for 2017 anyways). So if you want chrome and Power Wagon it doesn't look like it is possible unless you can find a 2016 or older... There are some on the lots right now. I searched they aren't by me. Not for another month, I checked. I'll look online some more for n...

Re: 2017 PW Build & Price Available Now

I did build it and I thought it was 17 and had both trim levels listed. Also the tradesman was the only one to come with the black and the Laramie was chrome. I don't want the chrome but want all the luxuries and gizmos.

Re: 2017 PW Build & Price Available Now

the 2017 tradesman look just like 2016. When you build them on line, power wagon is a option if you are building a tradesman. something like 8000 dollars if I remember correctly. I meant PW tradesman and PW Laramie. Sorry I should of been clearer. So which PW comes with the black wheels, grille, an...

So do only the tradesman get the black wheels, decal, and grille and the Laramie gets the chrome?

Re: Thinking about buying but for some questions

I have friends with the Super Duty and the Ram rides significantly better and has a greater turning radius. Overall, the steering is tighter and more responsive. Our first half hour of ownership involved a Dump Truck coming into my lane after blowing thru a light, and me severing and the truck hand...

Re: Thinking about buying but for some questions

We have 2016 F-350 single rear wheels for work. No comparison in ride. Even with utility beds (over 1,000 lb on the rear axle) the SD are harsh and bouncy. I have driven them several thousand miles at a time and my back is always sore even spread out over a few days. My PW I can drive 1,000 miles i...

Re: Thinking about buying but for some questions

Having trouble finding one local to test drive. Anyone ever own or still owns a 2011-2016 superduty? I hate the way my superduty rides and I want to make sure it rides better than that. Honestly that's my biggest thing keeping me from pricing one out right now. I want to make sure it's has a decent...
