Re: Greetings from a new 2018 Power Wagon owner
Hello, welcome congrats o the new PW you made a great choice. I don't know if I agree that suspension squeaks are normal on a new truck, it would not hurt to have the dealer check it out might be something loose. When my truck was new I had a similar problem turned out the rear shocks needed to be t...

Re: thermo temp 2007 ?
203 is the OEM temp, the OEM thermostat is made by Gates # 34053 rockauto as them for $10.45 compared to Mopar # 52028898AI which the dealer sells for $41.60. It's a good idea to replace the thermostat housing when do the thermostat I've seen the paint peel off of the inside of the housing and get i...

Re: ZR2 diesel test drive & test tow
The ZR2 is a great little truck I can't wait to see some pics, I bet the hardest thing to adjust to will be the small size other than that I think you made a wise choice. Just don't forget to pull that airbag fuse before you go off road!

Re: Front Diff Blow Up
Supposedly the Carli arms "move the front axle 2" forward". Seems that would change some of the geometry in the diff as the attaching driveline distance is now changed - yes/no? Carli arms a 1/2" longer than stock and will not negatively affect the steering geometry. I've had mine on for over 10 ye...

Re: PW stalls after refueling
Don’t fill your gas tank with 35 gallons immediately before needing to drop it out of the truck if you can... Oh that is funny. Has anyone ever had a fuel pump fail when the tank was low? I believe this is in the Murpheys Law Book. I had 1/4 tank of gas in mine when the pump failed and it still was...

Re: PW stalls after refueling
Have a issue with my PW stalling out after filling up the fuel tank. Doesn't happen all the time. Pull into a station. Fill the tank up. Start the PW and start to leave. After about 1.5 minutes of running. The PW will stall out. It will take 2 tries with the key to restart. Once started. It runs fi...

Thanks Coder sounds like the info I was looking for , that sounds like a price I could live with on the rear actuator....any idea what the part number is on that or where I could find it online? Here's a link to the post when I did mine: http://forum.powerwagonregistry.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5085 ...

Re: 2006 Power Wagon new to forum
Your rear locker actuator needs replacing the same thing happened to my 07, you have 2 options replace the factory unit I was able to get it done for around $650 by buying the part online and taking it to a reputable differential shop or hard wire the rear locker switch. There may be some guys on he...

Re: Front Diff Blow Up
Have you had a front pinion seal leak fixed in the past if it was not done right it could have caused some premature bearing wear?

Re: ZR2 diesel test drive & test tow
One thing to be aware of with the ZR2 is they have an issue with the side airbags accidentally deploying when off road on side leaning roads/hills I been following a few of the online forums and there are several posts about it. Quite a few were not covered under warranty to the tune of $5000+ for r...

Re: 2012 5.7 oil filter part number
The 2008-2013 5.7 PW takes Mopar # 4884899AC or MO-899 on the box. The 05-07 PW takes Mopar # 5281090AB or MO-090 on the box. Sometimes these get mixed up the 899 is smaller in diameter than the 090.

I've had both Purple Cranium and Carli front covers. The Purple Cranium leaked after some direct hits because it does not protect the bottom of the lip of the cover the Carli cover is the best. Re: "Smart" Sway Bar, discontinued part. Help please!
Not sure if you indicated this already but does the swaybar disconnect actually work, if it does it might just be the locker actuator? I had the exact same symptoms, see this thread, http://forum.powerwagonregistry.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5085 and it was the rear locker actuator. If it is the smartb...
