Re: Rambox Panel Warping

I bought my 2019 at the end of May. I've had it back twice already to have them work on the drivers side lid. It;s separating from the inner panel, and warping, again. So I'll be calling the dealer again tomorrow to take it back again. Pisses me off that a truck this expensive has such mickey mouse...

Re: Drove away from an Accident

Damn, that really sucks on a new vehicle.

Hard to say about the check engine light. The active shutters behind the grill could be damaged though.

I'd go for a diminished value claim with the insurance and trade it as soon as it got out of the body shop.

Does the 2019 power wagon still have the electric fan and mechanical fan for the cooling system? Thanks
Beats me. It's almost impossible to see the front of the radiator through the grill and active shutters on the 19.

I can't see an electric fan, but that doesn't mean there isn't one.

I run 12.5 on my 2005 and 2019 power wagons. Both on stock rims.

Thanks.

Do they look ballooned? Tread wearing evenly across the tire? Any rubbing?

Will these tires fit on stock rims?

35X12.50R17LT on a 19? These are ATZ P3s.

By the looks of the specs on the Mickey Thompson site it seems 8.5 in is the minimum.

Re: Facebook Group & Forum - Tire Popularity Poll

My problem is I need a mud and snow tire. It's one or the other. Sounds like another set of wheels is in your future. I've got a set of Muds mounted for the 07 and I'll put them on if I'm going to someplace extra muddy. But I find the P3s a pretty good compromise the rest of the ti...

Re: Facebook Group & Forum - Tire Popularity Poll

I hated bfg’s until I saw video. They’ve won me over from here on out. I've probably gone through 6-7 sets of the BFG ATs (old and new version) over the years. They're good in the snow and have strong sidewalls. Pretty much worthless in mud and wear fairly fast on a PW. I always started to look for...

Re: Facebook Group & Forum - Tire Popularity Poll

Sell the duratracs while they are new. You would be roughly half way to a new set of tires. I'd sell them if I knew someone that wanted them, but I don't have time to deal with craigslist idiots or the likes. Only home two weeks a month. Best thing to do with them would be to find a big green brush...

Re: Facebook Group & Forum - Tire Popularity Poll

I don't facebook.

I put Micky Thompson ATZ P3s on the 16. I liked them a lot. Now I have a new 19 and am back to the Duracraps that came with it. Going to get another set of the ATZs when my wallet recovers from buying the new truck.

Nice to see that more people are buying them and coming here. I just bought my fourth new PW. The 19s are a step up (even though I bitch about the nanny crap) :P This is about the only place where you can get any real info about wagons and that includes dealers, who generally know less than anyone a...

Re: Adding a front camera to a 2019?

Cool. Nice color. I have a 3G in Black too. Ok you should be able to order the front camera and have the dealership enable it then but you made need the 360 module. Biggest issue is that most every part for the 2019 HDs if they weren't a previous 2018 part are impossible to find because they are al...

Re: Adding a front camera to a 2019?

It's not a Tradesman or an 18. I've got the sticker in front of me. And it has LED lights.

Seems the 360 cam view is buried in the towing technology group (which this doesn't have).

No, I guess it would be the classic/standard PW trim or some such. It's got some add on package the dealer ordered but nowhere near the top trim.

Standard on the 19 PW. Maybe did not get the right package or unconnect? It's probably standard in the top trim, otherwise it comes with some group or stand alone add on. It's got the 8.4 uconnect and a bed camera. I bought it off a lot because they had closed 19 orders and 20 wasn't open yet.

Re: 4WD shift light comes on while driving

My 16 did it going 70 mph down the freeway and other random times. Don't let them give you the "no code, can't reproduce" thing and tell them to just change out the TCPS. The switch is a common problem. Do you have a part number? Not offhand. I took all of the service papers out when I traded the t...

Re: Adding a front camera to a 2019?

A handful of businesses make the kits that interface with the OEM radio. Most are pricey, otherwise you'll have to power it and run it to its own monitor. I thought I read somewhere the '19s had a front camera or was an option (and you did say that). Infotainment.com and Camerasource.com come to mi...

It may be something you want to check with the dealer on (normally not a proponent) however from what I have heard if you have the other two cameras it isn’t as easy as plug and play. It needs to be programmed in. I bet the wiring is already there. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Tried one dealer ...

Adding a front camera to a 2019?

The truck has the backup and cargo camera, so how difficult is it to add a front cam?

I was going to order one that way, but was unable due to bad timing.

Re: 2018 vs 2019 First impressions

Tried out the Zeon winch the other day. (my zero turn got stuck again). It does seem faster and the synthetic rope is a nice upgrade. OTOH, they just can't seem to come up with a decent free spool lever/location. The lever on mine is stiff and requires a lot of force to move. Still stuck in a cubby ...

Yeah. You're safe from it if you have a column shifter. I think the 1500s have had it for a while and they flash the ones that don't when they get serviced.

Door ajar will do it too. My understanding is that they implemented it because retards grabbed the radio knob and turned it instead of that stupid rotary knob and jumped out of the vehicle. Combine bad design, idiots and lawyers and you end up with Idiocracy. It wasn't a movie, it was a documentary....

Autopark. One cheap chineseium door switch away from an immobile truck.
It may or may not be disabled in 4lo, I haven't checked yet.

I can't program mine, but I probably have a lower trim level. If I don't have the AC in the auto mode it retains the fan speed settings if I restart the truck.
Best I can do.
