Re: Rear Springs tuftruck ttc-1225
Those look like 1500 springs. I'd return those and get Airlift Airbags 5000 and Daystar Cradles. That way you keep your flex and can airup to tow. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk The springs the OP bought are for 2500, and are designed to be STIFFER than regular 2500 springs (but the product p...

Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate airbags (88289) and Daystar airbag cradles that won’t negatively affect ride quality or suspension range of motion.
Or 1.5” spacers on heavy springs that will ride like a dump truck when unloaded.
I know which one I’d pick.

Re: Bouncing Problemos
I am installing my Thuren 2.5 setup this weekend, assuming weather cooperates. I ended up going keeping the OE PW rear springs, and going with the Thuren +1/2" springs up front... so CG shouldn't take much of a hit and didn't make spring rates worse in the rear. Hoping that between more aggressive ...

The thing about the rocks is that it's literally an aluminum can. It doesn't take much. If you contact a rock and it spins, it slices open. https://scontent.fboi1-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/61256484_867934070265685_1488691245965377536_o.jpg?_nc_cat=109&_nc_ht=scontent.fboi1-1.fna&oh=c0daf2320da06af86...

Re: Aluminum Driveshaft failures?
Yes, they do get destroyed. My local driveline shop told me that the shaft length on my 2015 was too long for steel, there would be balancing/vibration problems at high speed. Given that I intend to regear to 5.13 at some point in the future (even higher driveshaft RPMs), and drive at highway speed...

Good deal! Man I should just buy one of these damn things for a spare once and for all already lol! Where abouts in Michigan? The aluminum wheels don’t mount using the stock spare winch. I’m sure you can make them fit, but you’ll have to fiddle with the part that goes through the hub. Hmm, I could ...

Re: Well...this sucks
Shock mounts are weak BUT if all the geometry is correct should never break because they should never see downward force. The shock should stop before that. The bumpstop stops the downward force before force is applied to the shock mount. In the up swing the shock mount would see some light extendi...

Re: Torq's Build - 2017 RAM Power Wagon (Nickname Undecided)
It's a tight fit between any 17" wheel and the brake calipers. Your shop should be using the thin stick on weight and being careful about where they put them. If those Nittos need a lot of weight to balance, you might have issues. My tape weights routinely get scrubbed off when offroading and mud/gr...

Don't count your chickens before the eggs hatch. My '16 has the "4WD shift in progress" issue and it has yet to be resolved. Dealer just reflashed PCM or other module. Lousy dealer anyway and doubt any Ram dealer around here is worth spit. I'll eventually get around to swapping out parts until it g...

Welcome! If you’re really serious about plush ride, talk to Thuren and they will hook you up. I don't think we have corn gas anywhere in the state. I believe we do import some fuel from the lower 48, but I guess we abstain from the corn stuff for compatibility with the real stuff we refine up here.

Good looking truck, enjoy it! They come from the factory with the end of the winch line rubber banded or zip tied to the drum. The winch hook and controller are in a storage bin under the back seat or in the rear floorboard. Some dealers put the hook on for you, some don’t. The ones that do aren’t t...

Florida is the worst for Bro Dozer builds And bro Jeep builds that never wheel. Alaska is full of the built, on-road Jeeps, and they’re all getting targeted by Anchorage PD right now for fender and mud flap tickets because it’s windshield chip season. Hilarious. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I've decided to go with coopers. I dont want any rub. What size is recommended for no rub issues? I'm thinking 315/70/17. Am I correct? For a radius arm truck: 35s fit fine. It's a tight squeeze to get one into the spare location under the bed, may require deflating or getting a used spare. Many wi...
