I'm almost certain that 30k miles is when you're supposed to add the lift and tires...

With your high-speed stuff, I am a little surprised that I am not seeing air bumps on your list yet. Definitely interested in where this goes.

By the way, our trucks are almost identical (stock to stock). Nice choice!

Would love to have ya come out. I wish that I were about 1200 miles closer to where you are and where Moab is. Then I wouldn't have to bother going that far for some decent wheelin!

Spontaneous: Drummond Island, MI - 7/31- 8/2

So, I was at work today, wishing I was wheeling... so I decided to plan a short trip. I am calling this trip Lone Wagon Island, so far. Here's the schedule: Leave Chicago 7/30 - travel to Mattawan, MI - have a couple beers with and stay the night at my buddy's Travel 7/31 from Mattawan, MI to Drummo...

Hey man, I hope that all is going well and that you're all settled in by now. I am looking to put a free spin kit on my truck, and really like the SpynTec kit. I see that you offer Dynatrac, but was wondering of you also have the SpynTec kits. Let me know if you've got em... I'd rather support a ven...

I wasn't able to view the video(s) - probably due to permissions. I'll give it another try later - but I rarely log into Facebook, so later may be a week or so.

I'll be headed out for somewhere (not sure yet, but thinking about Michigan) on Wednesday night for a little off road and camping. If you'll be around and want to link up and get a little mud on the tires, let me know!

Re: Water Pump Replacement - How Difficult?

That's the one. Don't even bother messing around without that tool. It will just lead to swearing and drinking... not that those are all that bad. They just don't fix the water pump.

Re: Water Pump Replacement - How Difficult?

It's not all that difficult. There are actually some pretty decent videos of how to do it, on YouTube. There is a school of thought on how to orient the thermostat, so if you're into that school of thought, you'll want want to consider that. IMO - the toughest part is removal of the fan clutch and s...

Re: Winched out a Dodge

Nice work! I traveled out to Utah to get my PW. The midwest had some serious snow the night before I got back (I drove straight through). On my way home I was on some country roads and came up on a lady who was trying to flag anyone down for some help. Her car was way into a snow bank, and the track...

The grill looks really good, man! I hate to say it, since you might be dropping some coin on new headlights, but that truck would look mean with the bumpers done in black!

Re: MOAB 2015 PW rally!!!!!

Okay, let's try this. Arrival day for all will be Saturday May 2nd. The wheeling event will be Sunday the 3rd through Wednesday the 6th. Departure day will be Thursday the 7th so all can make it home in time for Mother's Day. That will be four full days of wheeling together. Many will need two days...

Wife just got home and she says " Count us in" it is only 375 or 330 miles depending on which road we take. Like everyone else though we just need the dates. Is anyone else camping? I have been to Moab a few times but never with a PW. Bear in mind though my 2014 will be mostly stock , I am still tr...

It takes me about 2 and a half days from South Western Pa not pushing it. Traveling on RT70W. Stop for the night in Booneville Mo. The second night in Vail Co. Prices for a room in Vail ain't bad for that time of year. But it might be cold in the morning when you walk out to the PW. Like 24F the la...

Seasoning your tent is good advice, and while your at it don't forget the seams. Unless you tear a hole in the fabric, the seams are where most leaks will happen. You can get seam sealant just about anywhere and its easy to apply. For a bed that's pretty versatile, these work well in the bed of the...

JBM - where are you coming from? I'm in the Chicagoland area and am considering the same thing. I did the trip earlier this year, all in one shot, but it wasn't fun and I wasn't good for much the night I got there.

figure out why the flux capacitor let go. I always check the muffler bearings and the blinker fluid to be sure the flux capacitor won't let go unexpectedly. I think AEV is working on a Plus5 unobtanium capacitor and that is why their release has been delayed. Damn... they told me that mine would be...
