How many more AR's do I need? Isn't 10 enough?
ARs are like beers. You can never have too many.

Re: Dicks Sporting Goods.................

Gotcha, that I didn't know. I had to google SJW. ha My local Dick's have AR's for sell. The one I worked at. They even have a section just for AR accessories. The Field and Steam store 20 miles away from me has a bunch of AR's for sell. Their parent company is Dick's. So you're saying they double d...

Re: Dicks Sporting Goods.................

Because if Dicks didn't want to sell a product they just wouldn't (Like they did after Sandy Hook). Instead they're advertising it and going on TV shows to discuss it. They're SJW's that were waiting for the opportunity to share their irrelevant opinion. Dicks actually stopped selling ARs in 2012, ...

If you want an AR. Buy it now as prices are going up.
Maybe in specific states but national gun control isn't going to pass the house. Hell, it failed in Florida on Monday.
In a couple of other forums that I'm on. They say they are buying complete AR's and lowers.

I worked for Dick's this summer part time for 3 days. Couldn't stand it and quit. The corporate culture wasn't for me.

For faster locking. Think they could polish the ramps or change the angle of the engagement points in the locker.

Re: Air actuated lockers on the PW?

My rear locker locks pretty fast most of the time. My front sometimes takes a while. If going into a bad spot. I will lock both. My rear will be locked, but not the front. But when I come out the other side. My front will be locked. It's as it has a sense of when it's needed the most. Won't lock unt...

Re: Good places to move to in the southwest

I've heard that PA is already one of the best states for retirees... No Social Security tax - no state sales tax  I like where I'm at. But wife wants to move. For Pa. I'm in the Goldilocks zone for the most part. The only thing missing. Not being able to hunt off the back porch. Have...

Re: Good places to move to in the southwest

I was going to say northern NM. Between Santa Fe and Colorado somewhere. I'm just east of Abq and love it out here. Originally from eastern PA. We're in the mountains but not too far from (what some people call) civilization. My youngest stepson is just outside of Farmington. Been up to Chama. Camp...

Re: Good places to move to in the southwest

Colorado, You pay taxes on retirement income. Don't know about vehicle plates.

Mid stepson is in Greeley now. He's buying a place in Elizabeth. Youngest stepson has a place outside of Farmington NM. We're looking for a place just outside of a town. Where I can go hunting off the back porch.

Good places to move to in the southwest

Me and the wife have been talking about moving out to the southwest. Looking for a state with no taxes on retirement income. Not too hot, not too cold. Grass and trees. No emissions on vehicles and low yearly registration. Not based on value. Basically a Goldilocks zone.

There isn't much price difference bewteen a JK (or whatever they are calling it) and a Grand Cherokee. Unless you are talking about a SRT or the TrackHawk. :jawdrop:

Re: Balance beads ?

From an engineering perspective, the centramic balancer is only going to correct out of balance conditions in the rotational direction - much like the old time bubble balance machines. Although, it does have an advantage over the bubble balancers in that it can continue to adjust over time. If your...

Re: Balance beads ?

You can buy Centramatic balances that go between the hub and wheel. Basically lasts about forever for however many sets of tires you run and requires nothing to install. Won’t screw with TPMS sensors. Don’t know about stud length and how thick they are. They had these out years ago. In the old JC W...
