Re: More camper shenanigans

You had a fun day like I did. For the last 2 years. Everytime I unwinterized the motorhome in the spring. I've been having problems with the hot water. My tank is both electric and propane. No issue with either getting the water hot. What the problem is after you turn on the hot water at the s...

Think I would be lawyering up. For 2 reasons. To go after the first dealer and to get my ass out of jail after I choked the living shit out of someone.

Re: Coming out of gear?

So the "swap" to a Mopar kit happened today (yea)! If it happens again I'll know something is up. The tech that performed the swap said the instruction in the Mopar kit were very explicit and described that the O-ring must be inserted first before the filter (no "stacking"). He thinks the last tech...

Re: Coming out of gear?

Thanks "DamageWagon", it kinda makes sense what yinz are describing as the possible issue. Seeing how three of you guys all lit up on the same "solve", it makes me feel pretty secure that this is what is happening (the timing of events helps point to this). The shop used "CarQuest" product, so this...

Re: Coming out of gear?

A while back. This was a big issue with using aftermarket non-Mopar tranny filters. The one filter gets pushed up into the tranny. The o-ring that comes with the filter is the wrong size, and lets the filter drop down after a period of time. It's best to use the Mopar tranny filter to eliminate this...

Re: Rausch Creek 2018 June 22,23,24

Pulled the rear diff cover off. Fluid looked about normal for 55,000 miles. There was a BIG bunch of metal particles around the magnet and sensor. Cleaned the magnet and sensor with Q-tips. Wiped out the inside of the diff. Checked the clearance. It was 5mm. In spec. Checked locker operation. Everyt...

Re: Rausch Creek 2018 June 22,23,24

When you clean your magnet check the air gap while you're there. Mine is adjusted on the tight side. Following the FSM procedure, mine will hold a 5mm hex socket snug. The spec is 5.5mm +-.25mm. I know I've posted this before but hears the procedure so you have it handy. Also while you're at it, tr...

Made it home from out west. My rear locker light is flashing. But only after I drive about 50 miles. So this weekend. I'm pulling the rear cover and clean the magnets.

Ace had a SRT10 before he bought the PW.

One of the instructors at Pittsburgh International Raceway has one. He gives demo laps in it around the road coarse.

We're leaving tomorrow for our trip out west. Will be back in town on the 14th. Think from the 2nd through the 9th. No cell phones. We will be in a dead spot I think. 58 miles south of Bullfrog Utah, on Lake Powell.

I do miss the days when it was common for the gas cap to be behind the license plate... I don't know about that. We used to smear grease a long the top of the plate. So when you went to open the gas cap. You pulled down the plate. You got a handful of grease. That was YOU???? Yep!!!!! ...

Did I miss a joke or are you just trying to be an asshole bc he drives a 350Z? It's a 370Z Nismo with 450hp that I use for trackdays. Maybe next year. I'll redo the motor to 700hp plus. Had a couple of 370z's with over 1,000 hp running. A lot like me was around 500 hp to 700 hp. Had a bunch o...

A lot of people tend to forget which side of the double yellow line they are supposed to be on as well.
Police won't get you for speeding as much as to crossing the double yellow. They will nail you.
