There's no way twice as many parts could have twice as much wear. I don't see how this can fail.

Re: Upgrading to 35’s

autel isnt obsolete and works just as well as anything else for resetting tpms. but ya , renting one doesnt make sense if your going to the dealer every week and have to keep changing the tpms I've used the Autel MaxSys multiple times and it lacks most of the functionality of AlfaOBD. I don't even ...

Re: Upgrading to 35’s

The Autel is obsolete. Instead of renting one just buy AlfaOBD and OBD MX. During my last warranty episode the dealer reflashed my BCM. I had to redo all of the changes I previously did. There's no sense renting the Autel if you're just going to have to rent it again.

Re: Chinese tires

My tires were made in Japan, you sound confused. Nation of origin does not denote quality but China's reputation for quality precedes itself. Being better than Duratracs isn't exactly a high bar but may be just the false equivalency you need to convince yourself you've made the right decision. As is...

Thanks for the replies... so what kind of tires did you guys run to get the shitty experience?
You don't need our affirmation for your decision, if you want Chinese tires then go buy them. You already know know what you're getting into or you wouldn't have started this thread.

Customtronix Customer Service

The internet is most often used to complain so I wanted to share a positive CS experience I recently had. Last year I installed a Customtronix front camera system. When I did the installation I cut the RCA cable in half on accident. I soldered everything back together and had it working again. My re...

Re: What would you expect to pay for a re-gear?

It depends, if you use Chinese bearings and Nitro gears then probably sub $2K. For AAM gears and bearing kits probably around $3K. I'd be very suspect of any gear swap below $2500 because you're probably getting junk install kits at the least.
