I believe it leads to another open OBD port looking female plug that i believe i may have tapped into, then connected the leads to the green block This! Thank you... lol my brain almost popped trying to figure this out before calling AEV...WHO DID NOT HAVE THE ANSWER. I asked them to clarify instru...

Re: AEV Procal install issue
call AEV, at this point, im sure someone ran into the same issue. dont remember if this was my issue on install or somethine else, but i also had to call them on the spot to troubleshoot. i had a secondary harness that connected to the OBD, can you check for that? I believe it leads to another open ...

Re: 37 Tire in a 7' Garage?
i was literally thinking of fabing up a pulley system to pull the front end down with the winch to clear the many garages i enter often and barely clear now with 35s. moving to 37s that may ruin the perfect clearance i have right now, but never thought about airing down. i wonder the overall height ...

Re: Tazer RAM
sucks because 2hi locked at high speeds is the best. Well you can do that, but there is some funky shifting going on in the process lol. Actually, if you wanna get crazy and erratic it might not be a bad setup with the long gear holds. But for just normal cruising its a joke. who moves that slow? l...

Re: Acceleration lag?
So it came but the connectors dont fit, is there more than 1 plug on the gas pedal? a pedal commander should help...but it wont help if they went and fudged up the transmission tuning with the new 8speed. if you bought it specific to your truck, it will fit. send over some pics? it connects inline

Re: PW vs Raptor Video
id like to see a setup similar to mine in that comparison ... Truth is, you cant find a new raptor for $60k ,70k, or 80k in south florida. If you want to Finance, youll be nearly $80k with dealer premium. Maybe youll walk out for $75k for a loaded raptor if you paid cash. so a complete thuren suspen...

What black there is is semi gloss. The wheel are gray with black rings. honestly, having the cap on the bed in body color brings the truck to a whole new scheme level. you should paint the Chrome Grill Body Color Blue and Paint the Grill Grate piece in the Satin black of the Thuren bumper. and rid ...

Re: Truck felt squirrely on drive back
go run the 37 RT if road manners is more important. 3 of my 35 RTs have plugs from nails. 1 of them has 3 or 4 plugs. Ive rotated and balanced 2 times in nearly 15k miles. Just ordered Centramatics to try and minimize vibrations, but they run Daily on the highway at 90 MPH often. When im in Germany....

Re: Truck felt squirrely on drive back
your experience should be the disclaimer advertisment for 35+ toyo MT installations.. its just what mud tires do... you can carry those right on up to top speed and your ride will be the same. HOLD ON what width rims or stock? if you use too narrow of a wheel with a true 37, your going to float arou...

take it to the dealer. let them check and clear codes. run the Lucas fuel cleaner for a few tanks. Run 93 for a full tank, and you can dilute the current tank with 93 as well. pretty much the same thing happened to me a few weeks back, and it was the first time i filled up at this crap station in 20...

Re: Truck felt squirrely on drive back
these are 37 toyo MTs you are running? yea, its going to be squirrely. the check is, find the speed that makes them squirrelly, if they are the same kind of squirrely at 75 and 85 that they are when at 65 MPH, then your ok. just not used to a True MT. and you could use aftermarket trackbars, specifi...

Re: Steering shaft/box
pretty sure this movement is due to the Backlash that is designed into the steering box.
you can tighten up the Lash with a nifty adjuster on the top of the steering box. look up this process on youtube.
but ive heard you do not want to go too far or you may introduce binding into the system.
