Re: 3rd Gen removing 6" lift and leveling ?'s

I just threw my original parts in a shed when I got my lift. I can see what's in the box. I am sure it will have a majority of what you are looking for.

Yeah It's pretty cool checking out that site but at the same time I don't want it available to terrorists. That would be the perfect tool to see exactly where to place a bomb on a city

On the trail I'll take the crappy dodge gas burner over diesel anyday. Less weight and faster response to the skinny pedal and brake pedal.

Re: Roll over point

All I can say is that my power wagon has been very forgiving. knock on wood but as long as I take my time the truck seems to let me and everyone around me know when I'm at the tipping point. Granted I can't speak for the 4th gens but I do ride on 37"s with 4" long arm lift. Our long wheel base and w...

For what its worth, I've got purple cranium front and rear. They've held up really well with a few good hits under their belts.

Re: Questions for DOR

Just saw this thread so I'd be glad to add some ideas of what I don't see in the market that I would be interested in seeing. 1. A boat side kit for the power wagons. I have most of my visible damage on the lowest part of panels between the wheels. 2. A flat belly kit upgrade. every year I replace b...

Re: Hellcat power and more cab options may be coming!!!!

When and if my engine dies I will have the hellcat engine installed but changes will occur to tranny and an Atlas II transfer case would be installed. I'm sure I would have to install driveshaft fuses to save the axles until the axles were ready for more. In all honesty there aren't many tires that ...

Re: Trail FX Nerf Bars

All I can say is don't expect Trail FX Nerf Bars to be trail ready. They will reduce clearance and bend on contact. I am sure they work fine as a step to get into the truck. I'm not trying to rain on your parade but I didn't want you to be misguided by the name.

Re: Has anyone replaced steering box

I haven't read this entire thread but I have changed my steering box 7 times. I wheel my truck a lot and rock crawl with it. My experience with dodge steering boxes is that each one is slightly different from each another dodge steering box. The way I see it is whoever oversees the steering engineer...

NickTF - I have the ARB snatch strap 33000lb too and it works very well. To the horror of some on this site...I have pulled out two semi's (with trailers) that were in ditches. My rear recovery points are reinforced to also handle hard pulls. Your truck weighs a lot so buy a high quality snatch stra...

I just picked up and installed two 21.5" trail master LED light bars on my truck. So far I have been really impressed with them. Each bar was $110 at 4wheelparts. I have hopes that I won't see moisture in their future. http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk83/WHITEYBLACKPOWERWAGON/OLD%20OFFROAD%20PIC...

I just checked out my steering shaft just inside the firewall. I don't have that pin with rubber bushing. I've got two set screws/bolts on each side of the U joint that lock onto the steering shafts. So I'm good. I'll post pics tonight

For what seems like years I have been waiting patiently to see how AEV deals with larger tires on the rams. I've seen pics that show their rams flexing with 40"s but haven't seen products out yet. Re: Questions About 37s, and Control Arm Lengths

I would be careful about trying to locate the axle farther forward with control arms that are 3-4" longer. 1/2" forward is the safest bet without modifying all steering geometry. I would also be hesitant about using the sway bar disconnect in your truck now.

This won't solve your issue but I would probably put in driving lights in place of the fog lamps to have as a back up. Assuming your fog lamps aren't affected. Or have other additional lighting installed.

I currently have 4th gen gear box with hydro assist and a sector shaft brace mounted to driver side only. I offroad ...

Re: Bed Mounted Storage Boxes

I prefer the tool box behind the wheel mount with drawers that open towards the back. I'm in the east so I don't do fast offroading but there are many times the bed of the truck is 5-6 foot off the ground from where I'm standing. It's really inconvenient to climb into the bed offroad multiple times ...
