Re: The knife discussion thread
I carried a Blur for quite a while and really liked it. Loaned it to someone and never got it back. Replaced it with a Benchmade Griptilian and carried that for about 3 years before upgrading to a Benchmade 940-1. By far the nicest EDC knife I've seen. I had them send me a deep carry clip, and its s...

Re: I got a limp lever!!
So I didn't get a chance to work on it this weekend, would it still be safe to drive? Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk When a T-case goes, you'll know it... Either it grenades and you lose all forward power, or it grenades and locks up. I've had both happen to me, pray its the former failure mo...

Re: I got a limp lever!!
Never had it happen on my PW, but had it happen on my Jeep CJ. Check the linkage... I'd bet 97% assured that the linkage popped off. On the CJ, I had enough dried mud up in there that when the motor rocked in the mounts, the linkage was forced off the shaft. Actually sheared the cotter pin right off...

Re: exhaust
Alright, thanks to both of you. Ordered the Magnaflow, 3" in/out. Should be here next week and I won't waste much time installing it. Going to try to keep the factory tailpipe if possible. Going to need to grab some clamps, and some steel rod to bend up as hangers since the factory used the hangers ...

Re: exhaust
Dumb question. The '13 5.7L exhaust's are still 3" right? Not the 3.5" that the 6.4L truck use? Gotta buy a new muffler, and not sure which I want to go with. Magnaflow 12589, or the Jones Turbine 3030XL, or Flowmaster 50HD 9530560 (seems pricey for aluminized steel versus stainless of the other 2)....

Rusty's on the right path... Airsoft is gonna be your best bet. Pellet guns are illegal in most towns in NY within a certain distance of a residence. Nerf or airsoft would be best. FYI, I sell hardware to a lot of heavy industry, refuse being one of them. They deal with birds all the time. The one p...

Re: SOLID diff covers
Well its 100% for the 11.5" AAM. I haven't crawled under a 2014 or newer PW, but it definitely doesn't fit the 2013 or older trucks (unless its a diesel). Easiest way to tell the 2 apart is that the 10.5" diff has flat sides on both top and bottom, with 2 bolts in a flat plane on both top and bottom...

Re: SOLID diff covers
So, the front fits. The back does NOT fit a PW. At least not a 13 or older... The rear cover is for an AAM 11.5" axle. My truck has an AAM 10.5" rear axle (assuming the rest of the trucks do as well, but don't quote me on that. This should fit the DIESEL trucks. So if you guys want a nice cover for ...

Re: Tire Feedback
Anyone seen or tried the Toyo Open Country C/T? In the market for some new shoes and trying to decide between these and the Toyo AT2 Extremes. I think it's time for new ball joints too. Cooper STT's are cupping like crazy at around 40k. Think I'm done with mud tires. The old PW and me don't really ...

Re: Springfield XD Mod.2, 3" 9mm sub-compact Now w/MORE Pics
Nice gun. I just picked up a Sig P938 as an EDC option. Keep going between a Mod 2 and the XDs for another option. I used to be 6'1" and about 235#, so I could conceal just about anything... Now I'm 6'1" and 180#... IWB carry gets a bit tougher when you're trimmer... I like the Mod 2, but the extra ...

Check out RAM Mounts... They have some laptop mounts that would work well... A lot of the PD's use them in the cruisers.

Re: Rausch Creek 2017
Fairly stock would be fairly ok. There are a few places that get a little dicey, but careful placement of the rig will get you through. You will drag bottom (frame, sometimes a bumper). Yes, bigger tires and sliders would be a huge help, since you have a longer wheelbase than a 3G. Steps don't last...

Re: Rausch Creek 2017
Depending on the dates I'd like to come down, probably just for 1 night. Got a buddy with a JKUL Rubi Hardrock who would come as well. He is a Nat Gaurd guy, so drill weekend may get in the way, and I travel for work, so no idea my travel schedule until a couple days in advance. Would a fairly stock...
