Re: Thuren Fabrication Steering for Dodge Ram Trucks
Good question Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free with regards to street driving and towing: OX is not as stiff of a ride as she use to be (not that the Power Wagons have the normall 3/4 ton ride, but you know what I mean). Off Road, I see a lot more flex with her and also noticed that wi...

Re: Dumb question
I don't think you will ever recover the money spent on a free spin set up. However the peace of mind with a free spin front end will be worth every penny you spend on it! That will be the next mod on my truck when I can afford it. Well, with my math, and my plan to keep the Wagon till either it die...

Re: Thuren Fabrication Steering for Dodge Ram Trucks
I agree with all... Don is the man, I have replaced pretty much my entire suspension with Thuren products and love them. Next on my list is the steering, he says we do not need a steering assist, and if we get his upgrade you will notice a hugh increase in your steering ability. Not to sure about t...

Re: New here
Well if you are ever coming my way again give me a holler. I work two weeks on and two weeks off so I may be home. Usually just working around the house on the weekdays. Weekend I try to go wheeling or do something with the family. Here's a pic of my truck as it is right now! Always changing and ad...

Re: Dumb question
Gah! All this talk of free spins made me calculate the offset of cost and at today's gas price..... (1.199/litre) I'd save about $575 a year on fuel alone by installing them! I posted this on another forum: "For me, the justification would be the reduced wear and tear. As well, if I gained 2mpg (at...

Re: New here
Thank you! I have a quick question. When I put it in 4wd do I need to get out and turn a lock on the wheels or does it do that for me? The truck does not have stock wheels and I have do not have an owners manuel!! No, you have direct engaged axles, you do not need to do anything outside the truck, ...

Re: Carli Sway-Bar End-Links
azracer/RedMan: What's you rod-eye center link to center link? How did you determine this lenght? I love them, they're heavy duty and when i took OX up to Uharrie in March I look at the links while fully extended and there was no binder or anything. I think those are the best out there IMO. I would...

Re: Dumb question
I love manual hubs... To answer your question nothing will happen. In my Toyota, I would run into times where I needed the extra torque but not the extra traction so i would drop her down into 4L with the hubs unlocked such as putting the boat in the water etc. What did your MPG go to when you went ...

I have a friend that lives in Vegas that has her own print shop and has been making decals for all my Veh's for years. She does a great job, if we have a lot of interest, and you want to shot me the logo you want I can send it to her with details and see what she will charge for all of us. Post the ...

Hey everyone, I have been lurking the forum and decided I should go ahead and introduce myself. I bought a 2011 PW with 18k miles on it about a month ago. I have already put 2k miles on it and love it so far. I am though trying to get used to the mpg. First truck ever!! The previous owner seems to ...

Re: Thinking of canceling my Thuren order.
Was wanting control arms to clear 35"s on stock wheels and longer so I could level the truck up. My tires rub the upper armsat full steer. Think I might just put the H2 wheels on those tires. You will need to do some trimming with H2 wheels 35" tires using stock arms. I'm sure those who have this c...

Re: Truck pics (to make other folks feel better)
I decided earlier today to take a few pics of my truck, to document my current level of damage for future reference. As I sometimes do, I figured that I might as well post them here so that folks can properly appreciate how nice their trucks look compared to mine. :D BTW, I do actually have tail-li...

Re: pw winch
I would not mount it with the mounts facing down, I have seen a few downward facing mounted winch's rip right out the bumper because the pull was to strong for the cast aluminum housing to hold. However, any aftermarket bumper can be adapted fairly easy so that you can mount the winch to the front o...
