"ZR2 Fag" would be inappropriate and I would not like mods to change his screen name to it.
Could change it to Dickless..........ah......mean Stickless.

He can no longer use this. :winchmob: As he no longer has one.

Re: The Power Wagon Curse

It’s just a list of trucks (and a Jeep). Maybe there’s more analysis in the article that goes with the list, but it’d have been easier to just say “buy any old thing you can afford and slap a plow on it”. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I was guessing that’s basically sales volume from that spec...

Re: The Power Wagon Curse

My old neighbor had IFS on his plow rig. I think it was a Honda, don't know my four wheelers that well. In my neck of the woods. Never seen a IFS truck with a plow. My brother had a 1988 Dodge 2500 with a plow. When I worked at the power plant. I drove a 2004 ferb f250 with a plow. On both of those...

Re: The Power Wagon Curse

Exactly, and its non stop. The neighbors Tundra fell apart plowing yesterday and wedged sideways on a hill. Had to bust out the snatch block on that one. He went and bought a new Tundra last night. Hoping the electronic LSD gizmo and IFS will do it. Says somewhere he saw the Tundra rated #4 best pl...

Re: Front Diff Blow Up

Supposedly the Carli arms "move the front axle 2" forward". Seems that would change some of the geometry in the diff as the attaching driveline distance is now changed - yes/no? Carli arms a 1/2" longer than stock and will not negatively affect the steering geometry. I've had mine on for over 10 ye...

You're late to the party. Been there, done that. 315 ft lbs on the 16mm. That's what my Snap-On torque wrench said.

The new trucks have an M18 if I remember right, fine pitch. The high torque spec would make sense then.
A 18x2.5, 10.9 is 318 ft lbs.

Re: 2014+ Track Bar Bolt Torque Spec 280+ - 320+???

If they are torque to yield bolts. They have a higher torque. If you reuse them. Then you have to use a lower torque spec on them. A torque to yield gets torqued beyond the state of elasticity and therefore undergoes plastic deformation, causing it to become permanently elongated. Traditionally, tor...

Re: 2018 PW Front Bumper

The AEV front bumper requires you to remove the winch from the stock cradle between the frame rails and relocate it to the bumper itself? If so then I am no longer interested in the bumper, that sucks. I think the Thuren bumper is less than easy on the eyes lol, I find it flat out ugly so that's of...

Re: New PW getting White Knuckle Rock Rails tomorrow

My rusted over White Knuckle sliders have decent traction on the rust. :( Massive amounts of salt and brine are used here - nothing seems to protect the steel without repeated applications... I know. Powdercoating lasts about one year here in Pa. The first stone chip in it, and it's finished. I'm r...

I've been using grip tape/non slip stuff from amazon and it's worked great for 6+ months and plenty of washes and a bit of snow. Makes it way easier to step on when wet vs just the painted bar itself.
I used the same tape. It lasted 3 years. Have to put some more on my nerf bars.
