Re: Can you program air condition functions?

It does. If you have it set to a specific function it will keep that in memory. The nice thing about auto is it's ability to manage the fan speed based on air temp. I have found the mixer function it uses to be a little less advanced than auto on my 2012 Challenger SRT which is obviously a much smal...

I looked for one for a while and couldn’t find one either. I think they may have discontinued them as there wasn’t enough demand.

Re: Can you program air condition functions?

I have the same question. I think this is something that could be done but likely by Ram and not us. From what I can tell in going through every setting that there is no way for the end users to access this but after having reviewed some TSBs on the 1500 there are a few that refer to reprogramming t...

I just want removable roof panels on the front cab that I can store in a special compartment in the bed.

Oh wait maybe I also need a Jeep [emoji12]

Re: Split Personality Tailgate

They aren't focusing on the right things in my opinion. Focus on thing that make the truck better or more powerful or functional. Not a split tailgate. This is something that seems born out of the Jeep Gladiator. Another waste in the way it was executed. GM recognized a demand for barn doors on Sub...

Re: Split Personality Tailgate

With as light as the tailgates are with the auto open I don't see the need for these other tailgate tricks whether Chevy Ford or Dodge. They aren't focusing on the right things in my opinion. A soccer mom of lazy dad could lift and manage the aluminum tailgates. Focus on thing that make the truck be...

Re: 2018 vs 2019 First impressions

So far really happy with how well the 8 speed moves my travel trailer on 35s. The truck could really "use" 37s but think an upgrade from the 4.10 would be in order. That said I am a novice on gearing. Likely more could be done with the power of the 6.4 and the timing of the 8 speed to make up for it...

Re: 2018 vs 2019 First impressions

Agree with your assessment of the 2019. I got mine in addition to my 2005. 2005 - rugged truck where you can't take a conference call inside the cab and can hear everything 2019 - a refined gentleman of a rugged truck that can do everything the 2005 can but very quietly and smoothly. On the WK slide...

Re: Upgrading to 35’s

If you want to have custom set points for your tires the dealer has to flash something after the change in the tuner. I just disabled TPMS.

With 35s if you can't tell when to pull over you may need to learn to drive [emoji12]

Re: Upgrading to 35’s

I am using the Tazer Ram by Zautomotive. They have a bunch of other functions as well. Very happy with it so far. You will need a bypass module unless you have a classic or tradesman model. It is located behind the 8.4 Uconnect radio on the 2018s. I went with 35x12.5 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on stock r...

Re: Add me to the Duratrac hate list.

Love the Nitto brand and so far loving all 2000 miles on my Ridge Grapplers. They also did spectacular off road. . Was a little concerned coming from Trail Grapplers on my 05 Power Wagon but these handled great on the 19 35s seem to fit fine on stock. No real rubbing issues so far. Sent from my SM-G...

Really 53:1 vs 51:1? I'm sorry but not enough of a reason to ever buy a ford [emoji12]

Recently they saw a TRX supporting a hellcat and we all know that the 6.4 can be tuned for a lot more HP and torque.

Re: Should I?

Any vehicle is going to have issues but really whether you get one or not is a matter of whether you will use it for what it is intended. I don't regret for a second the purchase of my 2005 Power Wagon or so far my 2019 Power Wagon (also considered a Tesla this go around). I like having a truck that...

Does it on my 2005 and 2019. Nothing to worry about.

Only time to worry is when it moves with no resistance. Then it is time to replace the shift linkage :)

2019 HD Security Gateway Module Location

There is nothing quite like taking apart the whole dash on a brand new truck to find a module that is so far stuck into the truck that you have to take the dash apart..... Well it wasn’t quite that far back but you had to know where to look. When I bought my 2019 Ram Power Wagon one of the first thi...

Based on the wiring diagram it doesn't look like they would be part of that circuit but would need to see the pin out on the BCM

Re: Clearance lights

Here is the wiring diagram. They are tied to the parking lights which is normal. If you have DRLs you could always try to run a piggyback pin from the Body Control Module I don't believe the clearance lights are part of the monitored lights on lights out so you may be able to repin just fine. parklg...
