Re: 2015 Front Spring/Shock Swap

Centering the axle as you did may very well allow a collision between the coil bucket and control arm bolts or whatever sticks out the most in that area during compression. Remember, the axle moves in an arc through the compress-droop cycle. On a PW, or other Ram with lift, the axle will be shifted ...

Re: MOAB 2017 - May 1-7

Lee is coming? How many spare wheels are we carrying for him? No, he's not. Probably won't make Moab this year either, my wife decided we're going to spend three weeks in Bali this summer and it's going to suck down every bit of leave I'll have by then. And on that note, I think you can just use th...

Re: DamageWagon's AdventureWagon

I don't think the lower BJ should have up/down movement. The upper will show up/down through the turning cycle. It really just acts as a pin. My next thought would be track bar bushing, then control arm bushings. This order is simply due to cost and ease of replacement. A true alignment may help, to...

Re: What is your favorite 4th Gen bumper?

I did forget to mention one other point- the drums on our winches aren't really ideal for synthetic line. The construction of a drum for steel is different than for synthetic. Synthetic flattens under pressure, which makes it wider, this putting excess pressure on the flanges on the end of the drum...

Re: What is your favorite 4th Gen bumper?

Having been through some winch training for fire/rescue recently, along with practical experience off-roading, I feel comfortable offering some opinions and observations. In my world, the rope needs to be steel. Synthetic would be great on something like the Warn Pullzall portable for weight savings...

Re: Which nerf bars?

I sprayed mine with bedliner. It works, but anything you use will wear through from shoes, rock hits, road debris, etc. I think you need to plan to have to touch up anything you use.

He did change the location of the zerks. Mine are higher on the tube, and shear off when REALLY flexed.

Re: 4th gen units ready to ship immediately.

myoung84 sold his PW almost 2 years ago, and sold off his stock of components to CajunPW to take over the bypass business. Cajun has since disappeared, as well. I don't believe there are any other options at this time. Maybe the mods should review the bypass threads and delete or lock them. Sent fro...
