Re: Need to be talked into, or out of purchasing a new PW

In think the Power Wagon may be a lot like the Raptor. There are as many Raptors being traded in as new ones are sold because it was not what the buyer needed. These are cool trucks, but not for everyone. I ordered a PW because I live off road and because I am a hardcore four wheeler. I have an old ...

Re: Any Ordering Advice

Did the Vin do anything once you got one? Looks like Chrysler rolled this system out to some fanfare many years ago. I think the problem is no one updates the system properly and it was too much hassle so they gave up. Ford Raptor guys are tracking theirs, and its a pretty big mess also.

Re: 17 dual alternator install

Are there any aftermarket kits? You could see what the parts cost from the Stealer, but I bet its a hell of lot more then the 395.00 upgrade cost. Obviously you need some brackets and a different belt, the real question is what you have to do with the wiring. I can check mine out when it gets here. ...

Re: Any Ordering Advice

Got with in 750.00 of Phoenix, so for that staying local. Not worth ticket, gas, day off from work. So roughly 1365.00 below invoice, or 5,878.00 below MSRP. I have a VON, however I take it that the order tracking system is not working these days from reading around?

Re: Any Ordering Advice

Yes, want to go new. Been 13 years, time to treat myself again. And not settling this time for black white or silver. Getting what I want for the next 13 years. That is not a bad deal though!

Re: Warranty and Winch Cable

So really not having the cable anchored is just a safety feature, they don't want you pulling straight on the drum. That being said cable does pop off, so I usually re-do the anchor and make it stronger and less likely to just pop off. I wont be winching with less then a few wraps on the drum and do...

Wow that sucks, never rolled a rig before. Definitely took that ledge too casually, that's a monster. Regardless of speed I don't think he realized how big it was. I would not take that on except straight on. One thing I have learned after swapping a solid axle to my Old Montero, with a solid axle i...

Re: Any Ordering Advice

Basically my dealer invoice is 58,627.00 although I found a mistake for 195.00. So Luke and Dillon both came in at 2K under invoice,(dillons was lower but had some missing items, not there fault) which seems awfully good. So 56,627.00 minus any incentives which apparently are a mystery at the moment...

I am not asking someone to get into there HB, they have to make a profit! I don't expect to pay invoice either. Still has incentives when you build it for 2018 which is nice

Well we are back to ordering. F ers cashed my check already. I am just contacting several dealers to see who will give me the best deal on an order. HALF of dealers don't even answer the sale line! WTF? I am going as far a Phoenix for a quote now. If you have someone with in a reasonable distance fr...

Re: Dodge Ram Power Wagon Global Production Numbers 2005-201

Well that's definitely an increase and good news. Only selling 600-800 some years does not bode well for long term model development. Really needs to be a lot more to be profitable still.

Well no word from the dealer, called yesterday and no call back. So it begins...I am ok with a 2018 as well. Never hurts to have the latest model, but it sounds like a long wait at this point. Just want a straight answer at this point.

Re: Any Ordering Advice

13K off MSRP! Damn guess I should of. With incentives and negotiating a little I ended at about 6500.00 off MSRP. Think I would have gotten that deal on a Raptor? I think there are some exciting possibilities for an electric or hydrogen off road rig.( can you imagine the torque or actually not...
